Last resort hotel

Posted Aug 15, 2015
This hotel was run down and unkept. My niece's 2 year old dtr walked on the carpet in their room and her feet were literally black. Towels although clean were paper thin. At night you had to get up every 2 hours to reset the thermostat. The value for the price was outrageous. Our first night was $59 which was reasonable. The next 2 nights were double!

Didn't get what we paid for.

Pros: Only the location.
Cons: Remodel the place and charge a fair price.
Location: Aside from the horrible experience at this motel nearby Port Washington and Cedarburg are scenic and safe and offer many things to see and do.
We stayed at this motel when it was a Super 8 several times in the past 20 years but it has been neglected and the room and general condition has declined. They have removed the sauna and hot tub we used in the past, eliminated the continental breakfast and increased the price. $122 per night average for a motel 6 with antiquated rooms and filthy carpets, and no other amenities, give me a break! I take that back, free coffee that tasted like cardboard was complimentary in the morning. Don't forget your bottle opener or bottle screw here as there are none to loan. To add insult to injury the restaurant adjacent to the motel is closed now as well. The greedy owners of this Motel 6 have broken any kind of good will we have had with this property. Totally ripped-off!

Simple, but good place to stay around Milwaukee.

I went to Oshkosh to see AirVenture. At that time, most of hotel is fully booked and expensive. I drove from Motel6 to AirVenture and took 1.5 hrs. However, hotel fee is very resonable and has a free Wi-fi, which is good enough for me.

It was OK for a one night stay. Would not want to stay for several days. Carpet did not feel clean. No breakfast.

Fish Day Port Washington stay

Posted Jul 20, 2015
Pros: Close to where I was too be and was glad to get an early check in.
Cons: Juice and mini muffins in lobby would be nice
Location: Port Washington close
Went to Fish Day in Port Washington and then to a family picnic in Greendale. Was close to highway so commute wasn't too long. Wish there were juice and muffins though in the lobby.

just a basic hotel but clean and comfortable.

Pros: price was good
Cons: nothing
Location: Right next to down town Port Washington and the Marina. Lots of stores and restaurants in the immediate area.Mc Donalds and gas station and pizza near
If you want a good price, then this is your place, if you want free breakfast, then pay $35.00 more and get a waffle. There is a Mc Donalds across the street from here if you need something. It was clean and the staff was friendly.

Pros: The cleanliness of the room.
Location: There's a Wal Mart and good bars nearby with great food!
This motel is a great place to stay if you just need a place to sleep. There's no bells or whistles. Just a clean and quite place to sleep!

Refurbished older motel. Clean but tacky. The only amenities were a brochure rack and coffee in the AM. TV, sketchy wifi. Only a bible and phone book in the room drawers. No ads for restaurants or even a chart on how to operate the TV. The internet listing had showed a picture of a hot tub. Clerk said it existed as an artifact of the previous motel chain ownership but current chain does not support it. Had been looking forward to it after a 400 mile drive. I like the no smoking policy of the whole building. Had requested room near handicap parking. Didn't get it. Either had to walk to main entrance or up outdoor stairs to a secondary entrance.
