A typical Motel 6

Pros: Front desk staff was nice, it was clean.
Cons: Lots.....but this is a Motel 6. The pillows were horrible. The bedding could be updated.
Location: Not sure. We were there to go to Concordia University for a special event.
We needed a cheap place to stay for one night. This hotel was clean. It is a Motel 6. If you're used to Hiltons or Marriotts, you're going to have to change your mindset. It was good enough for one night and the price was right.

The hotel is fine if you are just sleeping but even at the price point you dont get anything for breakfast and the rooms are outdated and beds are like sleeping on springs. The towels are yellow the sheets smell like bleach I slept on top of the blankets because I could not stand the smell of the bleach. The chairs in the room are dirty and stained I would not sit on them and curtains are dusty and stained. This place really needs to be updated. I would rather spend the extra 20.00 for a room that I was comfortable in.

Good utilitarian bare-bones hotel

Pros: Not too dry, temperature well controlled. I slept well.
Cons: I count on there being shampoo conditioner and soap in the rooms when I go to a hotel.
No shampoo or conditioner in rooms. However, when I asked the front desk for some shampoo, they gave me some. No conditioner. Amenities are minimal. Small foam cups for coffee in the lobby in the morning. I got in late and left early. It was good for this purpose. Sterile look to the room, not even a stock piece of art on the walls. It really comes across like they are trying to cut corners in every way imaginable.

Basic Hotel

Pros: Staff were pleasant.
Cons: Better snow removal on slope outside front entrance to prevent falls.
Location: N/A
Clean bathroom, warm room (important for February), basic bed, quiet, good neighborhood.

Not what I expected

After dealing with a few bugs, we went to sleep with the room HVAC blowing the curtains open and billowing over their nearest bed. Tried to adjust the curtains to no avail.
