Very basic chain hotel

Posted Sep 29, 2016
Pros: Although the hotel was full, the other guests in our area were quiet and considerate. So we had a peaceful night's sleep.
Cons: The duvets were too warm for those of us who like a lighter blanket.
Location: The usual fast food outlets are within walking distance of the hotel.
The hotel was undergoing renovation when we stayed, meaning that there were areas of the parking lot fenced off. But otherwise it was fine. My elderly father would have appreciated an elevator since our room was on the second floor. The hot breakfast up to par. And the sweet lady who was serving and cleaning up made it a real treat.

No Elevator

Posted Sep 26, 2016
A two storey facility with no elevator. Either get a first floor unit or bring a small bag. The breakfast is very ordinary. Only booked this hotel because the better ones were sold out.

I am so sorry you didn't enjoy your stay with us. We do apologize for not being able to accommodate you on the ground floor. Due to the high occupancies of our hotel it becomes necessary to book well in advance to request the ground floor. We do apologize for this inconvenience.

Close to restaurants and some shopping

Posted Sep 23, 2016
Pros: Comfortable beds and a very pleasant woman working in breakfast area in the morning. She referred herself as grandma and she was very nice.
Easy to get to and close to some great tourist attractions.

The room

Posted Sep 19, 2016
Pros: Coffee and tea available 24 hours, Close to restaurants : Swiss Chalet, MacDonald's, Taco Bell , Wendy's ...
Location: Shortage of taxi's available at the airport. Taxi pick up from the airport needs to be booked well in advance. You end up sharing the taxi .
The room (Room# 120 ) which was allocated to us for the first night had a foul cigarette smell even though the rooms are supposedly "Non-Smoking ". We were given room # 128 to stay for the second night. This was a better room. Tried to reach out to the receptionist the first night , called thrice to complain about the room , no one picked up the phone. The receptionist (Christine) on duty the second night of our stay, was courteous and helpful. Changed the room for us with a smile.

Clean and neat hotel

Posted Aug 7, 2016
The property is in the middle of the city. The front is well lit but the end of the hotel is not and gives you a rundown feel. Surprisingly, the room was neat, clean and the tabletop and bathroom top were stone. The air conditioner was noisy but tired travellers won't care. Breakfast was decent and the fact that they serve different eggs every day was a novelty. Parking is free and wifi is good.

Thank you for your positive comments regarding your stay with us. And thank you for mentioning the exterior light that was burnt out. We are aware of this, however, the fixture seems to be arriving on a slow boat! We take great pride in making sure everything is always in perfect operation, however, sometimes outside sources prevent us from doing this. Your comments are greatly appreciated and we sure hope to see you again some day.

Wet carpet, undesirable smell

Posted Jul 31, 2016
The carpet was soaked along the wall up to the bed from the air conditioner. Not sure how long it was leaking, but the room smelled like wet, humid basement and wet dog. The employee put down some towels and we had to avoid that area of the room. We would have requested to change rooms, but we were tired from a long road trip and just wanted to settle in for the night. Had this not happened, I'm sure our stay would have been more pleasant. The included breakfast was good and staff were friendly.
