Awful rude staff
Service was awful. Manager was incredibly unhelpful, i got the feeling he was deliberately being difficult because I wasn't French.

This is a great place to stay in Saumur. The room was nice, although there were no ammenities, i.e. shampoo, lotion. The staff was nice and quite willing to help us. Most spoke excellent English. There was a very tiny terrace (see picture) with a chair and table, but for only one person.

Great little hotel
Fourth visit and just as good as ever. Helpful and very friendly staff, comfortable room; though no air conditioning made it a little hot; but you don’t get a canicule very often. Breakfast excellent. We will return whenever we visit Saumur

Recommended for location and comfort
Friendly helpful staff and a comfortable room with a good spacious bathroom. A great location right in the heart of everything. If like me you arrive by train, the bus service from/to the station is easy to use and arrives just around the corner from the hotel if you don’t want to do the 10 minute walk. Slight inconvenience is that there is no elevator so if you have a lot of luggage it might be a bit of a struggle. What a surprise to find that the television actually had all the channels shown on the inroom guide unlike most hotels.

Saumur Vacation!
Very nice hotel in a great location center of Saumur. Restaurants, pubs and grocery story just outside the front door. Friendly service, clean, comfortable room. 2 easy pay parking options and 1 free option. Nice breakfast offered. Would definitely would stay again. Only drawback are the weirdos that hang out across the street in the corner behind the Carrefour store across from the hotel. Harmless but weird ha ha.. Overall great place to stay at a great value in Saumur!

The Loire Valley route.
A lovely little hotel in the heart of a delightful town, with a gorgeous chateau sitting on the hill overlooking the river. Cafes and restaurants just a short walk from the hotel. What more could you need? We love the Kyriad hotels in France, this is no exception. Looking forward to the time we can return.

One night stay en-route with family
Booked two rooms for my family which includes four adults, one two year old and 6 month old twins. Hotel was very accommodating with cots. Rooms were a good size. It was very hot and fans were provided but no air conditioning. Hotel is well positioned in the centre and though there was no parking available, we were told where to park for free which was only 5 minutes walk away. Basic breakfast for 10 euros (they waived the charge for our toddler), although they did have a frozen yogurt machine which was fun.

The rooms look nothing like the pictures but were comfortable and clean. DO NOT pay for breakfast though, it was a disgrace...they don't even give you a plate and expect you to eat off a tray with paper on it !!!!!!!

Great service staff - went above and beyond expectations. Great shower - hot water and plenty of it - sliding door on the toilet. Room clean, warm and comfortable beds.

Another lovely stay.
We spent a couple of nights here on our way back from our holiday. We've stopped here before so knew the hotel was good and offered easy access to the town with its shops and restaurants. The hotel staff were really friendly and recommended a good, local restaurant (and let us borrow an umbrellas as it was pouring!!) Saumur is a lovely town and well worth a visit.

Amazing stay
The Hotel was exactly as listed when I booked, it was easy to find and very quiet even though it is in the centre of Saumur. an added bonus was the secure underground car park. The staff spoke very good English and were extremely helpful. My only negative point is the fruit salad at breakfast contained bananas which had gone very soggy.

Great location, brand new room
On check in the staff were exceedingly helpful and friendly. Storing our bikes in a safe location was no problem. Our room had been freshly renovated and was spacious and clean.

Nice hotel with helpful and friendly staff
A super hotel located in the heart of Saumur, our room was spacious with a large comfortable bed, there was a choice of pillows, 5 I think. The bathroom was large with a shower above a bath. The staff we met were all extremely friendly and super helpful.

The hotel was very expensive, more than our hotel in Paris! There is a construction site out the front of the hotel. You also get early deliveries to the supermarket at 5 in the morning! The cleaner did not replace the tissues or the toilet paper in the room. The parking is something else, it is nearly impossible to get your car in or out of the parking area, all in all not a great hotel for the price.

Great little hotel, which is suitable for a one or two night stay. Staff very helpful and friendly. Car park is a challenge to get in and out of if you have an SUV or 4*4.

Convenient hotel in the heart of the city
My two sons and I were biking the Loire Valley trail and picked this hotel for Saumur. They were wonderful to us with the bikes (stored in a locked garage next to the hotel) and the staff was more than happy to suggest restaurants and areas to go. The room itself was very small for having 2 queen beds - we could barely walk around the foot of the bed. We had no suitcases just saddle bags - I'm not sure how a large suitcase would work. I don't recall an elevator so if you have heavy bags request a bottom floor. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom large and clean with toiletries. The wifi was great - some other hotels had problems in the room. It is in the heart of the city and easy walking to restaurants, the river and things to do. We only needed a place to sleep and take a shower and this hotel was perfect for that. I would stay here again.

A very welcoming hotel in a central location
We were 6 wet and weary cyclists on the Velo Loire route when we arrived, but were given a very warm welcome by the gentleman on reception - I think his name was Caspar. It felt more like a private hotel rather than one of a chain. Importantly for us, it was relatively easy to find, had ample secure storage for the bikes, tea making facilities in the room to warm us up and an efficient bathroom radiator for drying clothes. Caspar gave us suggestions for a walking tour of the centre and some recommendations for restaurants. Breakfast was the customary format for a French hotel and nothing wrong with that.

Met the price expectations
Delightful staff, very helpful and pleasant. This price was more than we would have liked to pay, but I'm sure the alternatives would not have been as good. Breakfast was not included in the 93€ price although it was a very nice cold buffet style breakfast. We have booked here again for next week ands they were happy to hold our luggage til then as we are on a bike tour.

Good central hotel.
Despite a lighting problem when we arrived which was quickly solved we had a very pleasant stay. The hotel is easily found, has a central location and the breakfast is the best we had during our whole trip. The parking was good although we were glad we only had a small car!

Notre hôtel est actuellement en grand travaux d'extension ce qui explique que les extérieurs de l'hôtel ne soient pas mis en valeur avec les grues et autres engins de chantier ! Nous sommes quand même situés en plein cœur du centre vile à 50 m de le rue piétonne principale !
