Found used soap in the tub and dog toy on floor.

Like the title says, we found used soap in the tub and a dog’s toy on the floor. I can infer that that rest of the facility is cleaned to the level of our room.

Pros: Location and vlaue
Cons: Have two checkin staff
Location: Plenty of chain shops and restaurants
Unless there is some big event in town, seems like you could get a good rate again as we did. No complaints at all.

Good.......but the pillows

Worst pillows ever. Wish I brought my own . There were staples on the floor and fake finger nails.

Don’t even think about it!

I never write reviews but this warranted one. The bathroom floor was still dirty. Someone obviously had come to the bathroom and used it since their shoe print was there. The place needs serious upgrading. Worst of all, I came out with 3 bug bites. Had to go to a walk in clinic. The doctor said I had a severe allergic reaction. Couldn’t tell me exactly what kind of bug but after our discussion, seems like it was a bed bugs. Needed to get a steroid shot along with other meds. I would never set foot in a Wingate again! I told the woman at the front desk and she said she could’t do anything since her manager wasn’t there. She was going to send me something through email for a discounted stay at any Wyndham. Almost forgot, check the sheets before you to bed. Mine had stains on them!

Pros: Close to the airport
Cons: Front desk staff needs more training on how to do checkins

Heater was noisy, tv signal was very poor. Took a long time to check in because staff didn’t know how to work the computer.

Close to Shopping

We were close to Restaurants and Shopping. Are room was by the elevator but heard nothing.

Worst experience! Would not recommend!!

This is by far one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a hotel. I would expect more from a one-star hotel, let alone something in the Wyndham family. When I first checked in for my 3 night stay, I entered my room and attempted to adjust the thermostat. It would only go up and not down. After repeated tries, I contacted the front desk. They called maintenance & maintenance said to give me a new room. The new room was fine & the temperature was good, so I didn't even use the HVAC system that night. Well, the temperature dropped drastically the next day so when I returned I turned the heat on. There was a horrible, clamoring noise that was right up there with "the most annoying sound in the world". I immediately went to the front desk & explained that there is no way that anyone could sleep with that noise, so it had to be fixed. To make the rest of the long story short (because the review length is limited here), I spent the next two nights freezing to death in a room with no usable heat. The front desk told me they were sold out, was extremely unhelpful in general, & then when I asked for the name and number of the manager, I was basically given a card with no name - just a general email for the hotel. It was an absolutely miserable experience & if I had not prepaid for my room I would have left. I wanted to demand my money back for the 2 miserable nights, but I don't even know the manager's name. My advice is to stay away from this hotel.

Great Value and Beautiful Setting

Pros: Setting, price, facilities and cleanliness
Location: There is a golf course adjacent, and numerous restaurants within a 5 minute drive along I-95.
The hotel was very modern and clean and in a beautiful setting surrounded by lakes and a golf course even though it was right beside the airport. While it was a little less convenient to I-95 and downtown Savannah, the price was much lower than comparable lodging along I-95. The breakfast was excellent and staff were very efficient and friendly. There were fewer restaurants in the immediate vicinity, but plenty of options within a 5 minute drive. We would definitely stay here again.

Very nice room, excellent guest services and pet friendly. We always stay here when in Savannah.
