The property is very old, which is what makes it charming. The restaurant is always packed but the adjoining pub usually has some availability with food service from the restaurant. The pub is very warm and charming. The whole place is warm, charming and comfortable.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at the Inn. The staff were friendly and always responsive to any needs or questions. The property had the charm and character we were looking for and added to our experience in Savannah. The bed was extremely comfortable and the a/c kept our room cool.The WiFi was reliable and having a smart TV was nice touch. We would definitely stay again on future visits.

I know we chose to stay in a 230 year old Inn. The atmosphere fit the bill but some amenities could be updated. Minimal hot water to shower, maybe put some tissues in the room, any type of breakfast would be nice, bedding was poor, room furnishings were not nice at all. Staying in an old historic inn is fine but not living like it’s 1790.

The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Linens and towels were clean. The only window in my room looked out on a hallway, which had lights on all night. Even with curtains, the light made it hard to get to sleep. Noise from the bar downstairs, and the staff areas, comes into the room and echoes in the halls. Everything creaks due to the age of the place. Location is very good. Altogether, not worth the price.

Beautiful historical inn close to amazing restaurants (including restaurant and tavern on site). Our room (317) could use a bit of tlc while still preserving its historical charm. Staff was wonderful! Our room definitely had some strange energy but I wouldn’t expect otherwise considering its age. :)

We had a wonderful stay . The hotel is in good location for a park and walk around. The restaurant inside has amazing food. And the people are so friendly. I will absolutely stay here again

Our room was so run down. Huge black stains on the beige (dirty) wall to wall carpet. Light switches that fell off the wall. One Bulb in the duplex fixture was burned out leaving lighting low and dull. Furniture was so worn I did not want to sit on it. Ceiling had an access panel that was very water damaged and looked as if it was ready to fall down into the room. Thankfully the toilet worked and water came out of the shower spigot when I turned it on. I will not stay here again and would not recommend it to anyone I know.

The staff was super friendly! They carried my luggage to my room. Gave us two complimentary drinks at the bar. This place has a lot of history! Definitely would come again!

While staff and interactions were welcoming, the facility is in dire need of a refresh- carpet in hallways and staircases not regularly vacuumed and need to be shampooed. Room and hallway wall painting scuffed and stained, curtains likewise in need of cleaning. Upon checking in we were told that rooms were not cleaned daily- ??? We never would have booked had we known this. Do not recommend for the price. Disappointing.

Great location and Grumpy is amazing. I wish he would accept tips and maybe donate to local charity? Room was clean and comfortable, however overdue for an update. Couch was way past its prime, blinds didn’t work, there were curtains we could close instead. Would still stay there again. They were little things. The people made it great! Didn’t have time to try the restaurant, but it was packed and smelled delicious.

Fantastic historic charm! The service and atmosphere were wonderful, with a great “haunted” vibe. Stayed in 204 for a chance to visit “Anna” which was great experience. Restaurant was excellent too!

This B&B does not include breakfast anymore. Although there are places to get food nearby add that to the cost of your room. Building needs update. We have stayed there before and we see a difference. Excellent staff. Great bar. Wonderful restaurant.
