Character hotel in historic district of CharlestonPosted Oct 4, 2015
Cons: Don't change anything.
Location: Historic walks, interesting waterfront and reported ghosts.
Helpful staff, quick check in, and a room in an historic building. The hotel is period yet has modern plumbing and air con. A very enjoyable stay.

Nice hotel - no elevatorsPosted Oct 1, 2015
Pros: Nice breakfast and good restaurant for dinner downstairs.
Cons: Someone needs to be available at any time to carry luggage to rooms and when departing.
Good location with tours stopping across the street. No elevators, had to carry luggage up 2 flights. Breakfast was very good and staff very efficient and accommodating.

Would Recommend to Anyone !!!!!!!!Posted Sep 28, 2015
The room, bathroom and parlor that we stayed in were beautiful to say the least. The staff were all very nice and very helpful in every way possible. We will definitely be going back, but this time the whole family wants to go. They were so impressed with everything and the prices were great. I would not stay anywhere else in Savannah. It is a wonderful place to stay.

Een oud hotel, centraal gelegen.Posted Sep 13, 2015

Comfy and convenient to walk to everythingPosted Sep 4, 2015
Pros: The location, it provided a parking space, very comfortable rooms and temperature.
Cons: The coffee could be stronger, but that's it.
First time to stay in Savannah and we loved it. Especially our stay here at the inn. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly. It was quiet, tv and internet were great. Breakfast was just right. They had delicious little pastries that were perfect with my coffee! A very nice restaurant and bar.

Savannah 17hundred90 vacationPosted Sep 4, 2015
Pros: Convenient location, good staff & good food.
Cons: Air conditioning was adequate, thermostat not easy to understand. Water pressure (see above). Weak WiFi.
Location: Blocks away from River Street where there is plenty of dining and shopping. River cruises, dinner cruises & dolphin cruises.
This tired old inn is in a great location for walking and exploring Historic Savannah. Convenient to everything we wanted to do. We were able to park the car in the small parking lot and leave it for the week. The continental breakfast provided was what you would expect. We were on the third floor of the guest house. Didn't have much water pressure to take a shower - one day could not shower at all. If you need a good Wifi connection, this isn't it. Weak, sporadic signal. Strong cell signal, though. The staff was very courteous and tried their best. We had dinner the first night - very good, but a bit pricey. There are plenty of thing to see and do around Savannah. No lack of places to eat, either. We went in August - the weather was hot and muggy. We would suggest some other time.

Larger than expected with an excellent staff!Posted Sep 1, 2015
We stayed in room 301 which is in a separate building from the 17hundred90. the first floor has immediate access to a cute little back garden/patio, the top 303 includes its own parlor. The room was perfect for our long weekend. The staff was very friendly and helpful with recommendations and directions. The bar attached is a place we would have stopped even if it wasn't our hotel. A lot of tours came through on the weekend because of the haunted nature of the hotel. It made for good people watching and was never overly crowded. They also had a free happy hour buffet served. We will come back for the location, the people and the great rooms!

Haunted InnPosted Aug 25, 2015
Had a great stay. Was not visited by spirits other than at the bar. Very friendly with a lot of old world charm. Parking can be tricky but they block off spots in case their lot fills. Comfy beds and hot showers. My only improvement would be on the quality of the TP. You will enjoy your stay.
