Substandard in the "boutique" category

Pros: The staff was wonderfully attentive. The foyer sported an interactive information touch screen from which you could access airport boarding passes.
Cons: In-room beverage/snack service, all site amenities.
Location: A very long walking distance from the heart of Savannah's center hub and attractions.
If you're traveling on business and require nothing more than a nice bed, fluffy towels, nice-smelling shampoo and wifi, you'll be comfortable here. However, the only plus at this boutique hotel was the quality of service: first-rate staff. The hotel amenities were paltry: plastic disposable cups, no in-room bottled water or stocked snacks/drinks, no coffee pot. The pool was splash-size, no sauna or hot tub. The exercise room had three pieces of equipment. The spa room was unattended. So many boutiques have a social hour or breakfast buffet; not here. The refinements that make a boutique hotel stay special were absent. It's not a place to luxuriate.

Walking distance to Forsyth Park, River Street, Shopping, Bars & Restaurants. 30 Minute Drive to Tybee Island.

We expected more for the price.

Pros: The décor was nice.
Cons: The service definitely needs to be addressed. If you pay for quality, you should get quality.
We did not get maid service at all during our 2-night stay. When we first notified the front desk, we were not even offered an apology; just the comment, "well, they should have been there." After complaining repeatedly, we finally got an apology and the manager or person on duty gave us 2 free breakfast vouchers. That made me feel a little bit better, but the vouchers were for the incredibly overpriced (considering the low quality and poor service) of the restaurant within the hotel. I expected much better for the price. Also, the pool is much smaller than it appears on the web site. I am not usually one to complain, but I do not get much free time at all and I paid a lot for a disappointing stay.

Pleasant, well appointed hotel close to downtown.

Pros: Clean, well appointed, convenient and reasonably spacious rooms. Bellhops and Car valet staff very pleasant and helpful
Cons: Some of the reception and bar staff were not as friendly and helpful as the other people we met in Savannah. This may be because it was so busy.
Location: Loads to do in Savannah and surroundings. Sightseeing, beaches , plantations. The highlight for us were the squares with lovely trees and flowers
Good base for exploring Savannah. We were there over the St Patrick's day celebrations so it was a bit noisy but fun

The front Desk was wonderful from the moment we walked in and because we had to wait for our room to.be ready they upgraded us to a suite. How great!we will be back

TERRIBLE ROOM

Pros: restaurant good food
Cons: Tell them not to put people who pay 1100. for three nights in a terrible noisy room because they booked through Expedia. Also get a new concierge ,
Location: Looks to be close to everything but that is deceiving actually far away from everything so prepare to do a lot of walking.
Staff put us in the the worst room in the hotel.the second was on the first floor right behind the restaurant. It was so loud I had to sleep with ear plugs. we only had maid service the first morning, the last day they came at 8PM and told them we were checking out the next morning..The Valet who parks the car for an extra 25.00 per night {which you must do because no parking around on the street} left our car unlocked the first night. Never even apologized. We complained because the air conditioner was broke they came and left a note could not fix it , ask to change room. Unfortunately they came the day before were leaving g so it was not worth it to pack up out things twice. Also they locked us out out of out room the last day when we went out. Never vacuumed room the one morning they did clean. Tried to ask concierge for a good place to eat close by and she told us of one place, but had a bad attitude like we were bothering her.

Expected more for the price

Cons: Cleanliness
Location: Historic Savannah is lots of fun
Hotel was purchased and renovated 2 years ago. Upscale, trendy decor. Details like spots on lobby carpeting, streak marks on dusted furniture in lobby and in room, missing or askew wall fixtures made me wonder if the room and the hotel was properly cleaned.

B Historic Savannah

Concierge service on afternoon of 3/9/17 was incredibly good & helpful. Room was good size but water pressure and hot water was terrible--little to no hot water. Great atmosphere in hotel. Close to everything.

Nice hotel - location perfect

Only downfall during our three day stay ---housekeeping . Did not have room cleaned before 5 each day ,and that was after I had to request that it was done. Otherwise, hotel service ,staffing,accommodations ,location-PERFECT. Restaurant -5 Stars. Looking forward to returning .

Meet Hotel in Decline

3 night stay at B Historic. Check in was easy but was given a room that was still occupied. Nice person at desk upgraded us to a suite for the inconvenice. Nice Rome but things were starting to break inside. Holes in walls fixers etc. Also no housekeeping or towels for 3 days. Asked but no go. Oh well. Everyone was nice enough but they were just busy doing other things just not house keeping. Also do park across the street in the lot and forget their silly $25 valley.
