Accessible to most shopping in Savannah

Pros: The room rates is what I liked about this hotel.
Cons: The breakfast service.
Location: Very accessible to most restaurants nod the beach and downtown Savannah.
The breakfast food and service proved to be very dissappointing. I am happy that the Denny's Restaurant also inside the location of The Best Western.

Best Western Savanah Gateway.

Not a very nice motel. Staff was not friendly and didn't even bother to ask me about my stay when I checked out . I Had the feeling they get negative feedback when they ask so they purposely refrain. Room was somewhat unclean and the bed was made with a sheet and no bedspread. Weird. Very noisy location due to the incessant traffic on I 95. Woke up several times during the night. Not a restful stay with 7 hours of driving ahead of me the next day. Breakfast was typical but good .

The hotel is convenient to gas stations and the interstate but the carpet was really gross in our room. Specifically, from the door and to the middle of the room it was wet. There was a large puddle outside of the room as well as all of the rooms so we couldn't figure out if it was from rain or from them spraying it off. The bathroom was okay. I always check for bed bugs and there were no signs but when looking I saw the carpet up close and it is disgusting! I wore my flip flops the whole time.

Close to highway

Pros: Proximity to highway; easy to get back on route...
Cons: Renovate
Location: 20 minutes from Savannah water side & great restaurants/night life
Air conditioning wasn't functionning properly, mold in shower, small and grungy; we were very disappointed for the price we paid - expected better. Motel manager was kind enough to offer a better room once we approached with our issues and concerns. Certainly not worth the money we paid.

Savannah - Gateway

Pros: Clean, quiet
Location: Variety of dining options from fast food to steak house. About 10 miles from Downtown Savannah but the drive is easy.
Room was clean, staff was pleasant. Breakfast was plentiful. Hotel right off the interstate, so it was easy to get to. Restaurants in the area so that is a plus
