Avoid this hotel

This hotel is in downright terrible condition, and the hotel-provided photos are not accurate. Negatives. There were holes in the walls and doors, and the ceiling was partially collapsing in the bathroom. Aside from being located in a terrible neighborhood, perhaps the worst parts of this hotel were the massive blacklight above the bed and the huge mirror behind the bed. There were water stains on the wall, and the paint is missing or chipped in many places. Free WIFI was advertised but there was no wifi connection available. Positives: The falling-apart room was quite spacious. There was both a microwave and a mini-fridge in the room. The gentleman working the check in desk was extremely friendly and polite.

Best stay fit the price!

We came in on a rainy Friday to a friendly, welcoming staff, warm service and an extremely clean and well maintained room. 10 star hotel with red carpet service.

Met expectations

My husband and I stayed here over St Patrick's Day. By the time we booked a hotel all of the ones downtown were either full or way overpriced. We chose this one, even though it was a little off the beaten path, because the price was right. The location wasn't an issue - just a 10 minute UBER drive to the action. We got what we expected. It wasn't our first choice, but it was ok. Positives: The room was clean, and fairly large. The grounds were well maintained. The price was good. The bed was comfortable. The floors were wood laminate and not carpet! There was a microwave and fridge. Negatives: The neighborhood was sketchy, no coffee maker, no iron, no dresser, the lobby was not welcoming, the lady at the front desk seemed like she'd rather be somewhere else. One morning, I saw one of the workers going around looking in the windows of the rooms ... not sure what that was all about.

Stressed and disappointed

Very disappointing and I was questioned by the owners brother about the special I got on Hotel.com. I felt that he expected me to pay more when he said the deal was made with a glitch. He came to my room and that was uncalled for. Stay away from that place.

Dear Guest, You are free to write and talk but the truth was diffrent what you talk about. You had more people than reservation.We don't allow 6 to 7 people in the room.

Bare bones

OK, so I drive commercial vehicles all over the United States. I've seen "bare bones" Hotel/Inns/Motels. This is one of those. It wasn't fancy by ANY stretch of the imagination. There are NO phones in the rooms. There was no toilet paper in my room. No worries I had my own (both bases covered). Look, it had a lock on the door and a wire cable loop fashioned onto the door frame for "added" security. It is what it is. I just think people should know what they are getting before they commit to buying a room here. This also should help the owner step up his game? I think!?! LOL So why did I check that I would recommend staying here? The Inn was reasonably priced compared to all the other places.

Cheap little place 5 minutes from historic downtown. What I expected though. No bugs and the garden was nice and the sleep was fine.
