Awesome place! Close to the historic district. Staff was the best part. Extremely kind and very professional.

Found a couple things that could've been cleaner and a bug. Staff made things right, right away. Breakfast staff was outstanding. Beds were comfortable, as were the pillows!

CLEAN ROOM/SUPER STAFF vs POOR PLANNING

1) This HI was very clean and the restaurant staff was very friendly. 2) The breakfast was good, although the buffet area can get cramped (we went early), the area where the tables are is very spacious and clean. 3) My only complaints are: a) if you see I booked for 5 people, please have 5 sets of towels in the room (is this difficult to understand?) and b) I booked 2 queens & a rollaway, but this room was not large enough to accommodate a rollaway. The front desk staff did check to see if another room WAS available, but there wasn't. This is a failure of hotels.com. Not too big a deal as my kids are still young/small enough to fit in 1 bed. c) the A/C unit solenoid was loud and so was the actual unit when it kicked on/off all night.

This is the only hotel I have stayed in in the last 12 years that didn't have at least a continental breaksfast, it had a buffett but you had to pay $8.95. You pay $194 you figure you at least would get breaksfast. Will not stay here again.
