In Savannah for a conferencePosted Nov 23, 2015
Pros: The lobby?
Cons: Much better housekeeping. Redecorating. Better exercise facilities.
Location: Good restaurants nearby.
The housekeeping was poor. Sometimes I think the maid just made the bed and changed the towels. The exercise room was poor. Generally the hotel is in need of a facelift.

Cleanest Hotel in Savanah!Posted Nov 18, 2015
Pros: cleanliness and size of room. plus the river view.
Cons: more user-friendly tv (finding channels was difficult)
Location: Right in the heart of Savanah with plenty of food and bars around within walking distance.
Hotel was clean and comfortable. Worth the price of the stay as we had many friends staying in Savanah with us at other hotels and we had the best place.

Excellent locationPosted Nov 17, 2015
Pros: Decor, location, comfort of bed.
Cons: Breakfast, keeping a check on reservations and bookings so that those people who have made reservations are saved a room.
Location: river cruise, downtown historic district buildings, parks, shopping, clubs, restaurants, cafes.
When I arrived our pre-booked and paid for room was unavailable. I was left negotiating a deal that I was satisfied with which was an upgraded room for 2 out the the three nights and complimentary breakfast for one morning. The upgraded room was a river front room which was lovely. The atrium rooms that overlook the lobby are a bit noisy. The breakfast was better than some chain hotels but could have been improved on for $18. Over all the hotel had modern decor, was in a great location for sight seeing, restaurants, clubs, bars and river cruises. I would stay here again.

Grand WeekendPosted Nov 16, 2015
Pros: The convenience of everything and the staff was great. Really enjoyed the concierge, David I think, and how he handled things.
Cons: The accessible room delay. Also the lighting in the bathroom is only one light and it needs a fan.
Location: Excellent location and anything to do is within blocks.
My anniversary weekend with my wife began with chaos outside for parking but was handled quickly & calmly. Check in was easy and the bellhop got us to the room with ease. The hotel has everything including Starbucks. The room was comfortable but our accessible room door was a little slow to close & open for our security feeling. However, after voicing our concerns, they sent maintenance to take a lot of the delay off. We had a lot of mix up on breakfast as far as extra brown sugar for my oatmeal and sugar for the coffee but they came up twice to take care of the problem. Also, to no fault of the hotel, we tried purchasing tour tickets from the concierge but because of erroneous information from the tour company, the concierge gave us the tickets free. Great lounge/bar that overlooks the river & River Rd. Great restaurants all over Savannah but we enjoyed a couple right down on River Rd, behind the hotel. Great hotel but a little expensive.

In the heart of historic SavannahPosted Nov 15, 2015
Pros: Room, view, staff, bed, pillows, lounge, gift shop, valet parking. Even the elevators were cool.
Cons: Maybe touch up the paint in the room/bathroom.
Location: PERFECT location...shops, bars, incredible restaurants. Go out at night, too!!! Incredible beautiful. The town is hopping!!
Check in was very fast. Although our room was not considered on the river, it actually had a perfect view of it (room 678). Room and bathroom was very clean and the beds were very comfortable (best pillows ever)! There is a lounge with a beautiful balcony to enjoy the spectacular atmosphere. We walked to incredible restaurants (Corleons and Belfords), and went to several quaint shops. Cobblestone and brick walkways and shops lit up. Incredible atmosphere. Every person we encountered on this trip were very friendly and accommodating. What a BEAUTIFUL, FUN city!! We will definitely go back, and will definitely stay at the Hyatt.
