We didn't settle into our room until late due to traffic, etc. When we entered the room, the smell was pretty bad. The bathroom wasn't clean. Black mold growing on the ceiling, other people's hair everywhere, dirty floors. The microwave was covered in food/stains. I was too afraid to look in the fridge. Even when the bathroom light was turned off, it flashed like a strobe light. This was a problem because the bathroom door doesn't shut, so try sleeping with a strobe light flashing. The bed had a sheet and a bed cover. The cover was dirty with stains and smelled like someone sprayed febreeze on a dead animal. It was too late to do anything about the room that night, so we attempted to sleep with the one sheet on the bed. When I went to the front desk before the sun came up to let them know the issues, they didn't seem surprised or concerned. They couldn't try to get me a clean room for a few more hours. They assured me that we would only get a sheet, as they didn't have anymore linen or towels. I asked to check out. I didn't expect a refund for checking out two nights early, as they made it very clear there are no refunds for any reason. But, I did ask for my pet fee back for the two nights we weren't going to be staying there. The guy refused, but said a manager would call me. When we brought our keys back to the front desk, someone else was working and gave us our pet fee back. Still haven't heard from a manager. We stayed here a few years ago and it was nothing like this.
