Return to TN

Posted May 2, 2017
Pros: Pet friendly
Cons: update the facility
Every Spring and Fall I stay 1 night here to split the drive in two days. For the price it is a good value.

First La Quinta inn that I couldn't sleep well

Posted Apr 19, 2017
Pros: Nothing really
Cons: Remodeling will be a first, then verify if your staff is doing a good job at keeping rooms clean.
The hotel needs remodeling, looks like 1 star hotel with the Quinta logo which is disappointing. The room was dirty, the rug had something sticky, the pillows looked like the bags were already used. The bathroom was clean but really old.

Okay for the price

Posted Apr 10, 2017
Pros: Relatively quiet despite being so close to highways.
Cons: Room cleanliness.
Location: Easy access to I-95 and Route 204.
Bed was comfortable, and area seemed safe enough. A bit far from Savannah downtown, but the decent price made a longer drive in acceptable. Another La Quinta 10 miles closer was almost $40 more per night. Room could have been cleaner - I killed two cockroaches in the room when we arrived, but saw no more in the next 3 days. Also, when we arrived, we found a foam plate with used diabetic injection supplies under the room's armchair, as well as empty soda cans. I didn't see them until I moved the chair, so I understand how staff could miss them, but it indicated a casual approach to cleaning.

stay if you must

Posted Apr 7, 2017
The first room they put us in had an extra roller bed, which we did not order. When I called and asked if they could remove it, they said that didn't have any staff on hand to do so but that I could bring it down myself. The AC wasn't working and the telephone cord was connected over one of the beds and couldn't be moved or the bed slept on.

Old and outdated

Posted Apr 2, 2017
Very disappointed the ratings made it sound good and it was nothing but an overpriced all patched up hotel. Hole in showerhead been patched up I kept feeling like it was dirty I had a weird feeling the whole time I was there. They were cracks where the door didn't shut tight I don't know it was just old

Upgrade to rooms

Posted Mar 23, 2017
Pros: It was convenient to I95 and businesses.
Cons: More electrical outlets, put a refrigerator/microwave in rooms.
I was disappointed there was no elevator for this hotel. An elderly couple and myself were checking in at the same time and I had to assist them with their luggage up the stairs to their room. But most of all the rooms need to be upgraded to have more electrical outlets. With the technology that exists, today people need a way to charge their devices.

Great place to stay on a budget.

Posted Mar 15, 2017
Pros: The price, breakfast, bed, and staff.
Cons: Needs to be remodeled. Curtains didn't shut all the way, sink faucet coming loose, cracks in wall, dated carpet, and a/c heater buttons broken
Location: Near gas station and McDonalds.
Needs some remodeling but this is me being picky. Great place to stay on a budget. Great staff and breakfast. Does the job if you need a place to stay temporarily.

Hotel close to good facilities

Posted Feb 27, 2017
Pros: Availability of tea and coffee throughout the day
Pleasant and helpful staff especially Victoria. Location is close to the highway and not far from historic Savannah. Parking downtown was a problem though not at the hotel
