Every guest was put out on the street.

We had an 10 day reservation and on our 2nd day everyone was evacuated due to the oncoming hurricane Matthew at this hotel only. We were told to come back in two days and our paid reservations would be honored. We came back and were told the Corporation had leased all of the rooms in bulk to Utility workers and our paid reservations would not be honored. The hotel was empty, no one but staff and cleaning were there. They said our reservation had been lost due to a power outage so they could re-book the rooms, but when we tried our room key card on the outside doors it still worked. We had to find other accommodations on our own at a much higher price with no offer to assist by Hotel staff. Other hotels in Pooler did not close for the two day evacuation period requested by officials; we feel we and others were wronged. At this time, I would not recommend this hotel chain to anyone.
