Cant' miss out on this hotel if it is available!

Posted Mar 23, 2017
Pros: I liked the location, staff, breakfast, and location.
Cons: Only drawback woutl be the big parking garage off to the one side but people gotta park right?
Location: The riverfront with shopping is right there, nightlife, restaurants, all the park squares, old graveyards (if you're into that)
Where to start.....the hotel is a renovated 1700's building with incredible charm and location. Right downtown within walking distance to just about everything. the staff was friendly and helpful and the room was beyond expectations. 2 poster beds that were comfortable and a huge bathroom. Breakfast buffet was top notch!

Historic Inn on Reynolds Square

Posted Mar 22, 2017
Staff super helpful. Good complimentary breakfast with hot and cold options. Fresh fruit available throughout the day. Evening wine and cheese in lobby. Cookies at night. Turn down service. No fridge in room. Clean and comfortable room. Walking distance to shopping, dining, River St area. Only disadvantage to our convenient stay in the middle of all the St Patrick's Day revelry was all the revelry going on into the wee hours for three nights!

Newly renovated and perfect location!

Posted Mar 17, 2017
Pros: Wine and cheese in the evenings and breakfast included. Spacious room with sitting area. Location!!
Cons: Microwave in the mezzanine would be nice.
Loved staying at Planters Inn! Spacious room with a bed so comfortable, it was hard to get out of it! Parked car when I arrived and never used it until checking out. Location is great for the river and historic district. Never needed public transportation during my 3 day stay. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Renovations were just completed a couple weeks before my arrival.

Located in historic district

Posted Mar 15, 2017
Well located to tour the historic district of Savannah. The room was clean and comfortable, though quite a bit of noise infiltration from the hall corridor and adjoining rooms. The elevator lobby could use a refresh.

Great location

Posted Mar 13, 2017
Pros: Location and room comfort
Cons: Breakfast area & breakfast
My sister and I certainly enjoyed our two night stay here. The staff was welcoming and the room was very pleasant and clean. The location of Planter's Inn was ideal for exploring Savannah on foot.

Convenient

Posted Mar 10, 2017
Pros: We has a 3 night stay and wanted to use our time efficiently. This hotel put us within walking distance or a short lift to most attractions.
Cons: More wall outlets.
Location: Near the squares, visitors center, short drive to Tybee Island (see Fort Pulaski Natl' Park, visit The Crab Shack).
Nice location on the park. Courteous, helpful staff from arrival to departure. Concierge (Karen) is available to provide suggestions for tours and restaurants. The wine and cheese reception each evening, often with piano music by Jill, is a nice way to start the evening. From there, cross the side street to the Old Pink House for dinner upstairs (see concierge for reservations) or visit the tavern downstairs where Diane plays piano Monday thru Thursday. You may also take an adult beverage in to the park directly fronting the Planters. Valets will help you with baggage and parking.

Very nice hotel

Posted Mar 8, 2017
Pros: Beds were very comfortable, bathrooms clean and hotel staff was very friendly
Cons: Add hair dryers in the bathroom and improve the continental breakfast, was mediocre
Location: Central downtown historic district location, close to Bay and River streets
Had a very nice stay at the Savannah GA Planters Inn, beautiful historic hotel, accommodations were clean and comfortable. Were surprised with the happy hour with wine and cheese and complimentary newspapers. Would stay at this hotel again.
