Not a fancy Motel, but who stays in the room.

Posted Mar 26, 2017
Pros: Great price and great location. Not a fancy Motel, which did not want as do not stay all day in room, only slep there.
Cons: Need a little updating here and there.
Location: great location. City Market just around corner. All sites in walking distance.
Had a wonderful great time in Savannah. Would tell everyone should come and visit.

Great Location but that's all!

Posted Mar 14, 2017
Pros: Location and nothing else.
Cons: Everything but the location; especially the staff. The hotel needs to be renovated. The websites should reflect the increase in the parking fees.
Location: Two blocks from the Savannah river front. Perfect location.
The hotel website states free parking; Expedia shows $15/night but they charge $19/night. They say it's Expedia's problem and not theirs.

The room seems a little smaller than the pictures shows on website. It also has some odor not smelling good. But the location is very close to River Street, easy to walk on the historic area.

Good location

Posted Mar 9, 2017
really wanted to like this motel but I can only say it was a good location and a place to hang your hat at night. We are in our late 60's and our room was upstairs. Usually no problems but there was no elevator. The table was broken in our room as well as the toilet seat and the shower head was barely a spray. There was a space in the door frame that allowed cold air to rush in at night. I remedied this by placing 2 pillows behind a chair and bracing it up against the door. Parking is unreasonable as it is so tight. We have a dent on our car door to show. I will say that the staff did credit the parking fees back to us.

Not worth your money

Posted Feb 26, 2017
Even though the hotel's location was somewhat convenient, we had a horrible 1-night experience. The odor in the room was repulsive. There were stains on the carpet and table chairs. Upon arrival, the hotel staff was rude and not welcoming whatsoever.

Pros: Location
Cons: Parking
It was too noisy, other people in rooms. Shouting and cars all night. Parking fees exorbitant, should be free and spaces too close.

Thanks so much for taking time to evaluate our hotel. We are sorry you were unhappy with the cost of parking. Due to limited space in this area, parking can be expensive, and our charges are more affordable than other nearby options. We appreciate your feedback and hope you will be back to see us again soon. Sincerely, General Manager

One night stay

Posted Jan 22, 2017
Pros: Very close to the attractions
Cons: Replace the rug.
Location: River walk, historical buildings, shopping, live bands and tons of food.
Stopped in savannah for the night. This hotel was located very close to the river walk so we stayed here. It is an older hotel which isn't an issue for me but the rug really needs replacing. There was a huge stain right as you walked in. There was also a chair that had numerous stains. The bed, however, was incredibly comfortable. Breakfast was included. Not bad, hot breakfast. thin walls so I heard my neighbors in the morning. Also heard road traffic but the staff warned me that it was loud where we chose our room (she offered a courtyard room but we chose to stay in the front)

Hotel location

Posted Jan 11, 2017
Pros: The best thing about the hotel was the location to the river walk and city market.
Cons: The hotel lobby should be open earlier and coffee available in the lobby. The rooms only had a one cup coffee maker.
Location: Great location.
The hotel was in a great location to walk to the city market and also the river walk. It's an older hotel that could use a face lift, but very clean. The free breakfast was good, but was not available until 7:00 am. For early risers, it was a bit of a wait even to get coffee.
