Outraged and Devastated!Posted Aug 8, 2015
We as 3 females with 1 being an 8 year old had to sleep in a an unsafe environment. The back door had no locks allowing anyone to enter the premises. The worst was being put in a room and bitten over our bodies by bed bugs at 4am. 2nd day we had to leave the new room around midnight due to bed bugs to locate another hotel. Vacation ruined and still itching . The hotel needs to be evacuated and cleaned. Disappointed with The Ramada! GV

Nice HotelPosted Aug 6, 2015
Hotel is convenient, well appointed. Desk staff could have been more professional Attitude problem. Won't bring race into it...oops, I just did. Other people received better treatment in front of us. Maybe Keesha don't like Yankees...

vacationPosted Jul 13, 2015
Pros: convenience and good value
Cons: needs minor updating
Location: We did the Mighty Eight Air Force Museum and would recommend the trolley tour.
We toured Savannah and it was much simpler to drive in than it was to stay in historic Savannah. We did have some confusion on our check in.

Comfortable hotel 30 min from beachPosted Jul 3, 2015
Pros: The hotel is a non smoking hotel and as I expected. I was not disappointed with my experience during of my 3 night stay.
Comfortable hotel with a 30 min drive to the beach. Very helpful and pleasant staff. Hotel is close to a variety of restaurants, grocery stores and gas stations. Well appointed beds provided a good night of sleep.

Smelly sticky carpetPosted Jun 29, 2015
Pros: The bed was new and surprisingly comfortable. The pool looked good but I did not use it, because I could not wait to get out of there.
Cons: Change the carpet or better yet put tile in the rooms. Also offer non gluten choices for the continental breakfast that I could not eat
Location: Very close to the airport. 10 miles or so to Savannah.
The room smelled like urine or sewage. The carpet was sticky and we washed our feet and put our shoes back on. When we first got there they attempted to mask the stench with something like fabreze. I could still smell it through the deoderizor. I didn't ask for a different room because the hall way smelled also, so I figured all the rooms stink. After you book with them they have a no cancellation policy. This is a really big hotel. They have large rooms for weddings, two appeared to be going on as we arrived. The staff was not terrible, but not very friendly either, I did not feel welcome. The smell was the worst in the room. I would not recommend this hotel. It looked clean but the floor wasn't. By the time morning came my eyes were bright red and soar. Several of the lights in the room did not work. Some one later told me some hotels put the people who book on line (who pay cheaper rates) in the dog rooms. That could be, but due to the smell in the hallway I think it was the dog wing of the hotel. Oh I should mention, I am allergic to dogs. I was grossed out.

Pros: Dog Friendly
Cons: Everything except the staff was great

Room in poor repair but clean. Needs new everything including paint and tiles in bathroom. Worst place I have stayed in a very very long time! Very surprising considering it's a Ramada!

Don't stay runPosted Jun 4, 2015
I don't have time to write much but staff would not help you restrooms hardware rusty and toilets leaked. Room smelled really bad. People hanging out in the parking lot the whole time, the hallways were hot and the electronic door locks did not work
