Close to River - Terrible Choice - Don't Stay Here

Pros: Location - close to River front area, close to railroad museum (free)
Cons: Wired Internet. Restaurant/Bar. Breakfast. Clean elevator. Fix shower in handicap bathroom. Tub has too much going on, very claustrophobic.
Location: Cuban restaurant across the street. Food okay, not sure it's real Cubean food though. Expensive. Walks towards riverfront are cute. Beautiful scenery
No wired internet!! This may seem silly but it is a job requirement and one of the main reasons we chose the hotel. After 2.5 hours no one could help me, spoke with 2 IT people, 2 other staff members in room and nothing. All I needed to do was plug into the wall with an ethernet cable, this was beyond their understanding. Was unable to work. The WORST part, yes, it gets worse than that! I ran into the manager on Saturday morning in the elevator explained all, he took my name and room number said he would look into it and get back to me. NOTHING. Staff so unwilling to help even after I explained my company uses their hotel in other locations. Condition of lobby were great, clean. Elevator looks like it has not been vacuumed in weeks. Room clean, but we were given a handicap room. Normally my husband is fine with this being a tall guy he can stretch out. This time it was horrible. I was hit with the shower head twice, as it kept falling because of the poor handle and it would hit the water on the way down burning you. Thankfully we are not handicap, but the hotel I am sure will eventually hurt the wrong person. Walking distance to Riverfront. Close to highway. Next to gas station - handy for night time snacks and drinks. No restaurant/bar in hotel and no room service. There's a menu in the room but number is disconnected. When I called the front desk the guy said they went out of business but had other menus we could have, went downstairs and woman said they don't have any?

Apparently we were unable to get around the firewall on your computer. We have many military guests as well as Gulfstream pilots who also need secured ethernet connections, so it was unusual not to meet your needs. We have shared your feedback with the appropriate hotel teams to ensure that all the issues you mentioned are addressed. Enjoyed our stay here! Valets were great! Took good care of our vehicle! Always there when we needed it. Just need more waste baskets in the room. Only one and that was in the bathroom. Again, needed coffee available to brew in room.

Wonderful, convenient hotel

Pros: Cleanliness, convenience, quiet, and helpful staff.
Cons: A few more kitchen tools would be nice, such as large spoons, and at least one sharp knife.
Checking in was a breeze, with very helpful valet service. Upon checking in, we were warmly greeted at the front desk, and the room we were given was larger than expected. Spotlessly clean, tall ceilings, very comfy bed, and quiet! The hotel was also very convenient to the historic district of Savannah, and we had plenty of space for our rented bikes. We loved the facilities, the great full breakfasts, and friendly staff. All in all, a relaxing, wonderful experience, and we will stay here again!

Convenient and clean hotel. Close to everything

Hotel was in a convienent location. We were able to walk everywhere. Hotel looks old on the outside but our rooms were updated and clean. All staff was super friendly

Great option with kids

The hotel staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The valet price was inexpensive compared to others in the area. Having breakfast each morning was very convenient. The pipes in our room were fairly noisy at times, but the rest of the room met or exceeded all of our expectations. We were told the pool was heated, but the water was too cold for a swim while we're there. The location is close enough to everything in the city without being right on all of the busiest streets.
