floors were not clean, but other than that. the location was great and the 200 year old historic hotel was grand. The staff was friendly. two restaurants in the hotel and the reception was wonderful. I would stay here again.
Staff were helpful and friendly. Checking in was a breeze. Room was nice and clean, beds comfortable. Shops, restaurants, and beach all within walking distance. One of the friendliest places I’ve been to.
Hotel and staff okay but location ROCKS. .....
The overall room comfort and cleanliness was good. But as a non-smoking room it was NOT. Not so smelly as to warrant a room change, but the smell of smoke in the room was enough to be unpleasant. Rather loud AC as well.
Each year we visit Savannah around the same time, in order to celebrate our daughter's birthday. This year, we stayed at this location. This is an older version of this chain, however the price/rental rate actually matched the hotel. The hotel was "renovated" to improve the quality of this location, ...
Nice clean friendly close to a host of fiiferent restaurants. Very nice.
Very nice hotel in the historic district. They are dog friendly and I am always wary of doggy smelling rooms, but not one odor of dog anywhere and I had a dog with me.
I hadn't been to Savannah in quite a while and wasn't sure where to stay but I am glad I chose B Historic. The hotel was a perfect choice. And I will gladly stay here again.
Staff was very friendly, room was wonderful, close to great restaurants and tours of historic downtown Savannah.
the staff was really nice, they let us get our parking pass so we could park and walk to river street and other places.
Unable to take bath. No stopper in drain. Took 2 days to resolve. Very noisy-teens loud and slamming doors. Could really use an update. Carpet old and dirty looking. Day staff was excellent and very helpful. Should someone mopping floors be replenishing food?
The overall experience was great! The location is walkable to the City Market and the River Front but also in a relatively quiet part of town. The staff was amazing, afternoon cocktail time was much enjoyed and the hotel itself is in great shape.
Needed a one night stay near the hospital. Staff was very nice and professional. Room was clean, which is the most important aspect for me. The bed was a little on the hard side but comfortable. Would stay again if needed.
I travelled to Savannah from out of town for a seminar that was held at the Hampton. Since the trip was 2+ hours, getting a room was necessary. Not only did i get a text from the hotel staff welcoming me prior to checking in, I was asked if I needed anything to make my stay a pleasant one! Once I ...
For our annual “girls’” getaway 3 of us shared a double queen room and had plenty of space. This hotel provides a more-than-adequate breakfast AND wine & cheese in the evening. We walked everywhere we wanted or needed to go so did not deal with parking. The Planters Tavern next door (downstairs at ...
Most hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Ivy, the lady who took care of the breakfast room was exceptional!!!! She was happy and friendly every day and was such an uplifting start to our days. She deserves a commendation!! She gave the impression that she loves her job and it showed in her ...
This hotel is within walking distance of the free shuttle and everything we wanted to do and see
Right on river street walkable to everything in the historic district
We rented this hotel for an overnight between Savannah and Hilton Head. The rooms were nice, the front staff was great in the pool area was nice. Moesha gave us a great recommendation for Sunnyside up for breakfast. It was awesome.
Breakfast is $11 each and not included. If you pay thus much for a room you should at least get something for breakfast
