Comfortable AND affordable.Posted Oct 3, 2015
This wasn't the first time we stayed at this Travellodge and we will definitely stay here again. The breakfast is what you'd expect. Waffles, biscuits, gravy, pastries, and cereal. The pool and hot tub were a nice touch after a long day in Downtown Savannah. The location and price are great and the staff is just wonderful.

Staff is nice but the room I was given was badPosted Sep 19, 2015
Pros: The staff
Cons: Have fresh rooms for all guests and if you have a policy of a 10pm check in it should be followed
I am highly upset, although I appreciate the willingness of a refund had I left the hotel when I checked in there was no place for me to go and I still feel I should have been refunded for that night. I arrived around 10pm after a 15hr car ride with a 6month old child to check into a room (317) that smelled extremely horrible like mildew or as if you washed your clothes but left them in the washer without taking them out for a few days. The other hotels in the immediate area were all sold out. The hotel staff was helpful in the fact that they were trying to see if they could get me into another room but out of the 4 people that did not check in no one else had a King size. I was also told these other people had until 10pm to check in but sometimes they give them until 11 or 12 .. so I waited until 11pm to be told everyone else checked in or was in the process of checking in.

Savannah TravelodgePosted Sep 15, 2015
Pros: Very clean, comfortable room. Very polite, helpful staff.
Cons: More ice machines or a bigger commercial size ice machine that can handle the demand for the hotel.
Location: This hotel was about 15/20 minutes from downtown Savannah, but it was no trouble getting to where we were going and very economical.
Very nice, comfortable, clean room. Very polite, helpful staff. Limited breakfast choices. This hotel was about 15/20 minutes from downtown Savannah but it was very economical and a very nice place. The only inconvenience was that there was only 1 ice machine for the whole hotel. Had a hard time getting even a bucket full for the room, but I guess we got enough for each night.

2nd stay here in under a year.Posted Sep 10, 2015
Pros: The staff was WONDERFUL!
Cons: Housekeeping should notice if drains did not drain properly, if a latch was missing or the shower curtain was not wide enough to fit. Be proactive.
Location: A stone's throw from Cracker Barrel and 95 freeways. Quiet area and about 10 miles to the new beautiful Pooler Outlet and tons of shopping.
OK, Sept is Monsoon season on the east coast, or at least in Jacksonville and Savannah. Our king standard room was ok, until the last storm. 6 days of rain, on and off! 6th day and the ceiling leaked in the bathroom. I reported it, and someone came up to see it in 15 to 20 minutes! We left the room to them and went to visit family. On the way to the lunch date, I received a call from the hotel to tell me they upgraded us to a suite, and the leak had extended to the closet, and our clothes were wet. They offered to dry clean the clothes that needed it. When we returned to the hotel after visiting a sick relative, we received the keys to the suite, and went back to the desk when our old room key did not let us get to our things to move them. Suite was great. On the way out the next day, I advised them that the latch on the door lock was missing, that the shower curtain was not wide enough to enclose it, and that the fixture that held towels needed to be dusted. I was thanked for the info. We would return here. Staff was fabulous, and even offered to launder our clothes, but since I hang dry my clothes, and the humidity felt like 100%, I knew they would not dry in time to catch our morning flight. I was told to send the dry cleaning bill to the hotel when we got home. EVERYONE was friendly and did their best to make this a positive experience. They appreciated it when I mentioned things that needed attention, so I knew they wanted to hotel to be great!

Convenient location to our reunion.Posted Sep 8, 2015
We went to a reunion in Savannah, and this motel was not too far from the reunion on the river. We thought it was comfortable and quiet.

Nice hotelPosted Aug 14, 2015
We stayed in room 113 and arrived late in the evening, around 12 am. Check-in was fast and easy. The room was very nice, everything was up to date, and overall the room was clean. The beds were comfortable and clean. The only exception is that there must have been a water leak or water damage around the tub because there was a bit of mold in a spot on the plaster wall by the tub. Also the tub needed to be cleaned a bit better. There was mildew around the mounting on the wall for the handicap bar. The hot breakfast is good. There was a nice selection and variety. They had a place to make fresh waffles, sausage gravy and biscuits, a small selection of fruit, 3-4 cereals to choose from, small danish rolls, milk, coffee, juices, bagels, and breads. Mostly the hotel staff was friendly and helpful. On the morning of check-out we felt rushed because close to 10 am someone came to our door and asked us if we were leaving and then we received a phone call from the front desk asking what time we planned to check-out less than 30 minutes later. Check-out time was 11 am and we told them that were aware of what check out time was. Other than the few things here and there the stay was very pleasant.
