The Tybee Island Inn was a great choice. The interior was tastefully decorated and very clean. The sheets were soooo soft. Breakfast was wonderful-fresh fruit, eggs, bacon, casseroles. Our hosts, Vasa and Chris, are the loveliest people ever. The entrance to the beach was just a 5 minute walk away. We had an amazing time.
It was our first time staying at a bed and breakfast and we really enjoyed it. The Captains Quarters room is perfect for a family of four. It is a two bedroom with two extra beds for the kids. The patio area was so relaxing. We used their bikes to ride around town. Breakfast they made every morning was delicious.
I highly recommend staying here. It was charming, quiet, clean and the owners were friendly. It was so much better than staying at a hotel.
Lovely, family friendly, bed and breakfast near the beach and many activities. The owners were very welcoming and the breakfast was delicious. Our room was decorated and laid out nicely. We hope to stay again!
We LOVED our trip here! The breakfast was amazing. We especially loved the family atmosphere that the owners so beautifully curate at their B&B. Everything was clean and there was always someone asking us about our experience and if there was anything we needed. Parking was also great and only a short walk to the beach! The garden and porch at the property is out of this world gorgeous!
Thia place is truly perfect. Such a beautiful location and the host are amazing. The room was beautiful and clean. The atmosphere was welcoming and friendly. The breakfast were great. I cannot say anything but positives about Tybee Island Inn. We will definitely be staying again. Thank you for making this the best vacation ever!
There was a lot to love about this property. The grounds are beautiful and the house/rooms were great. The breakfast each morning was delicious and ready at 9am sharp. It is pretty close to beach access, restaurants and shopping.
The staff was mostly great and helpful. They helped us with bicycle rental, have recommendations on restaurants. I say mostly as we found Vasa to be a little more on the rude side. The rest of the owners were great, particularly Chris...great guy. Overall I would staff there again, but I'd onlycommunicate to 3/4 of the owners.
Beautiful old building with a spectacular courtyard and porch. Comfortable, thoughtful furnishings and a wonderful bed. Hostess was a delight, excellent breakfast. We will return.
We had a great stay.
Owners are great. They met our every need. They went above expectations to make us feel at home. Home is great and getting better with each update they are doing to the home and grounds.
Don’t forget to check out all their rooms if you get a chance.
Great history there with wonderful caring owners.
We hope to get back soon.
Lovely B&B with very comfortable accommodations and delicious breakfast. Plan to go back! The house is on the National Historic Register and enjoyed learning about the past role of the property. It’s close proximity to the beach is very nice.
Room was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. The courtyard was nice but the surroundings were disappointing. The breakfast was poor considering the cost of stay
This was our fourth stay at the Tybee Island Inn (different owners each time) and we are never disappointed. We love the location and the ambiance. Rooms are charming and comfortable. Amenities are lovely and thoughtful. Breakfast is delicious! Location is convenient to beach and not far from town either.
My daughter and I just stayed for one night in the Light house room which was absoluty amazing and cozy! Reading the reviews on forehand, its true; the homemade pumpkin bread with a fresh cup of coffee and nice hot tea was delicious. We had chosen this B&B because we just wanted to unwind in a very homy environment. Their lovely yard with beautiful oak trees and christmas decoration out and inside the house made us getting into the Christmis spirit. In the morning we enjoyed a great breakfast home made. Very friendly owners, defiantly will come back more often!
An excellent place to stop for a rest.
We stayed for two days and enjoyed our stay very much.
This is a large house with a number of rooms in the main floor and two large rooms upstairs. We had a large upper room.
The house, built in 1903, is clean and well kept. The upstairs rooms have slanted ceilings, period sinks and taps and a pretty funky paint job.
The beds are comfy and sheets, towels etc are of good quality.
Our hosts were very gracious and got up early the day of our departure to prepare a sandwiches and coffee for us as we wouldn’t be there for breakfast the morning we departed.
It is very peaceful and quiet and there are chairs in the porch to sit out and enjoy an evening under the branches of the live oaks.
It takes a few minutes to find but it is close to the pier and beach and only a few minutes drive from the Main Street.

Thank you so much. I was our pleasure meeting you both. We are all so happy that you had a good stay here at the inn. We do hope that you will come back and see us.
A very quiet place to be..staff was friendly. We would have enjoyed hearing more about the history of the inn with a brochure or a tour. Our room was a disappointment! It was what was avail. We met charming people and had a nice connection at breakfast and enjoyed sitting on the front porch. It is convenient to the shore and eateries. The breakfast served at the inn was good. We did not get a
print out of our stay only told we were all set... we think that having a B&B is great and it works when people are engaged. Certainly this is a beautiful area to be...

We have brochures at the front of the inn, we were there for breakfast and talked to everyone, I'm sorry you didn't like your room the house is 120 years old and we had nothing to do with it being built. Had you said something during your stay we did have two other rooms that came up. Also, we are VERY engaged in our inn and with our guests. We are sorry you didn't feel this way.
The Inn was very home like with lots of character. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious! I enjoyed my stay very much. I would definitely stay again.
We absolutely loved our stay at Tybee Island Inn! Great location that's within walking distance to several beach accesses and fun restaurants. The property is in a quiet part of the island that felt very safe, we spent a lot of time sitting in their courtyard just soaking up the tranquil vibes. But what makes this place the most special is the staff! We had several transit hiccups and Vasa & family went out of their way to accommodate our needs. They made us feel right at home, I'd come back just for their hospitality.
Innkeepers were very friendly and accommodating. They went above and beyond to make sure you were comfortable and treated you like family. Breakfasts were delicious. Highly recommend this property.
This Inn showed what a bed & breakfast is all about!! Took my lady to the beach for her birthday and wanted her to experience a bed & breakfast and Tybee Island Inn didn’t disappoint. Chris (hotel owner) was laid back, nice, and informative. I told him it was my lady’s birthday weekend and he surprised us with birthday cupcakes the next day! The room was also spacious and had a balcony I could smoke cigars on.
As I’m an extrovert I LOVED the intimate feel of this B&B. Home style breakfast sitting around the other travelers makes for getting to know other people. Not to mention when we would get back in at night a group was always playing cards and very inviting if you wanted to play.
I can’t speak highly enough about this B&B, if ever in Tybee Island I highly recommend it.

We truly hope that you both come back to see us. Chris loves doing sweet stuff for our guests. Thank you so much for the wonderful review and we are so blessed to have such wonderful guests such as you both, come and visit us. Vasa and Chris!!!
When we arrived at the Inn it was after dark and the lighting was so romantic. Small seating arrangements throughout the garden and in the wrap around porch. It was very cozy and inviting. Our room was very comfortable and fun. There was a little loft with a spiral staircase leading up to it. Below was a nice living room with nice furnishings. The bed was at the end of the room and was very comfy. The breakfast the next morning was delicious and homemade. 👍 We loved the Inn and will definitely go back sometime. Easy walking to the beach.

We are so glad that you enjoyed your stay with us. We hope that you are able to come back to see all of the other changes we will be making.
Relaxing environment with huge live oaks shading the property. Convenient location to most points of interest. Note that most dining options do not open until 4 pm. The Sundae Cafe is a good exception.
