Not customer friendly

The desk clerk was more interested in taking phone calls than checking me in. She answered and responded to two phone calls, when in my opinion she should have put them on hold until I was checked in. The room, although clean, was the worse for wear, with nicks and scratches on the furniture; like it had been around for decades. The free breakfast (I showed up at 8am) was not very well stocked; only one banana. The TV was very fuzzy until I realized that it was analog, not digital; not sure why, but it was unwatchable. The bathroom, although clean on the surface, was grungy in the grout, seams around the tub were blackened, and the paint on the bottom of the door was pealing. The outward appearance of the building said new, but inside said worn and neglected; obviously the manager didn't want to invest money in maintaining the facility.

We do apologize if your stay was not satisfying. With it being a very busy weekend the breakfast foods go very fast as the attendant repeatedly replenishes everything. We do apologize for the stock being low during the time you visited the breakfast area. We hope this does not discourage you from returning to our location during your next stay.
