We arrived on Thursday the 9th of February 2017 and were welcomed at the door and helped with our luggage. The hotel consists of 24 Canal houses which have been sympathetically and expertly connected with clever architecture, so it is quite unique. Anne at reception was very helpful regards us checking in and pointed out that the Concierge was there to help with anything we needed to know re Amsterdam. We were then helped to our room and enroute Rees explained more about the hotel. We had a lovely top floor room, which overlooked the courtyard. It was quite large and as it was on the top floor the ceiling went right up into the roof apex, with beams showing. It was lovely and clean, very comfortable and we liked the free still and sparkling water, plus a little pack of toffee waffles and there were tea and coffee facilities. The bathroom had a bath with shower over and again was very clean and my husband was impressed with how good the finish was on the sealant and the fact that the mirror was heated so it did not mist up. Our room was slightly cool on our first evening possibly because it was minus 3 degrees outside, but when we told reception we were immediately offered another room, or two heaters and an extra quilt. We loved the room we were in so plumped for the extra heaters and quilt. In the end we only needed one heater and the quilt was required at all. We were also sent two complimentary mugs of hot chocolate. Nothing was too much bother. The concierges were very he

Stayed with my wife for 2 nights in this hotel and it was great. Check in was smooth, room was a bit small but enough for us. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was clean. Had to ask for slippers and shower cap and it was sent to the room instantly. Free tea/coffee in the room provided. Couldn't figure out how to work the safety locker box - would have been good to have a set of instructions somewhere in the room. Not a great selection of English channels on the telly but a minor point. Hotel bar is very good. Check out process was quick too and they allow storage of luggage for free after you check out for the rest of the day. Overall very positive. I'd stay here again.
