Excellent Location and excellent facilityPosted Nov 1, 2017
Pros: Loved the Breakfast Buffet, Gym, Room, Room Service, Bar downstairs, the entire facility and location is great. Convenient to the U-Bahn. Service good
Cons: Front reception.
The front desk staff had a few folks like Shannon that are a bit snobby and not accommodating. I am an Elite Gold Member but was traveling with my family. What a difference it makes when you don't wear a suit! I don't mean for the better. Shannon told me my status is not in the system, so I showed her an email showing my status and my number, because SPG just merged with Marriott. She told me to wait and offered me one ticket for hot tea or coffee. ( I was traveling with my daughter and grand-daughter). After several business-men checked in and I was told to wait, ( I needed an early check-in), I insisted for them to check my status and they did. She finally came outside after about an hour of us waiting for all business-men to check in and told me everything was good to go. The funny thing was that these men standing in line did not have Elite Status, but belonged to a conference group. They were all offered room keys, though it was only 11 am, I was told by Shannon 3 pm is check-in time, though I called 3 days in advance and offered to pay extra to check in early. She offered Free Breakfast, but I already paid for it in my booking anyway, Elite Lounge access was granted, which I knew I would have, and a higher floor was offered to me once it was established that I was not lying lol.

Everything is Tip Top!!Posted Oct 19, 2017
Cons: The bar is adding extra Noise to the Lobby Environment which could be somehow insulated with doors or extension so that the loudness can be minimized
Nothing to be unpleasant about ! everything is above expectation.

The bartender Marques at the Champions bar was a blast. Very quick and reliable on his service and made the experience on the stay very entertaining.

Nice location but not central. Close to transit.Posted Oct 4, 2017
We are on a three month travel through Europe. This is over priced compared to others. Second floor overlooking parking. Room was small, safe didn't work and staff absent. Hot tub not hot and staff couldn't change it. Coffee pot but no coffee. Charged for wifi. Location nice but not central. Would not recommend. Should not have been priced over $150eu.

It's Marriott!Posted Aug 30, 2017
Pros: The amenities were great, an American breakfast buffet with an omelet bar, the pool, sauna, steam room and the gym was well maintained.
Cons: My only complaint is that the wall paper in the bedroom had not been updated. It was dirty. Probably if housekeeping wiped it down it would be ok.
Location: The hotel is in a community with a city feel. There was a street German Street festival close by. The hotel was a 25-minute drive to the airport.
I always know that when I go to Marriott I will get a good night's rest in a comfortable bed! The rooms were a typical American size room. After traveling in Germany and Italy for 15 days, this room felt huge. We enjoyed the American breakfast buffet with an omelet bar. We took advantage of the pool, sauna, steam room and the gym, which was all well maintained. We enjoyed our stay at the Marriott Munich!

Slow start, good finishPosted Aug 28, 2017
Slow start began with the room not being ready on time and had to wait over an hour for it to be ready. We were comped beverages at the bar for our trouble but it delayed us visiting relatives in he area. However the room was nice, staff was friendly and the breakfast was excellent. Gym is average (lots of cardio, minimal weights) but the pool/spa is nice. Walking to the U-Bahn (metro) is about 5 minutes and takes you directly downtown. Munich is a great place to visit and even tough we started poorly with the hotel I'd still recommend it.

Really nice hotel for family, and nice staffs, the only thing that happened while checking in they let me to wait untill 4:40pm which was not acceptable even though the offer small room because they allow the previous customers to late check out which was not accepted even though I arrived 9:00 am and the parking fees 23 euro per day which expensive, the breakfast was nice and the srround was quite and nice also .
