OK for kids

Pros: The waterpark, the food was good, and the room was clean.
Cons: We were on a ground floor room. There were hundreds of cigarette butts outside of our patio.
Location: Easy to get to. Didn't go skiing, but might do that the next time.
Room was clean, but outside on ground were hundreds of cigarette butts. Also, the fold out couch was unsleepable. The children enjoyed the water park and game room. Food was good, but over priced. Personnel were all friendly and professional. Checking in was fast and easy.

The only issue I could honestly say it was the room above us was very loud and very inconsiderate and the second TV above the fireplace never worked

First of all we had 2 rooms one was below ground level with a view of a retaining wall from the balcony. The other looked at the back of a utility buiding. We were told more than once the location of the rooms (and other things) were because we booked with a 3rd party. (Hotels.com) Don't get me wrong, the water park is great and my family really enjoyed themselves. But I really feel that most of the facility cannot keep up with the number of guests. There was a 45 minute wait for breakfast and about 30 minutes for dinner. Maybe we should have went off property and probably got better food for the price. If I wanted to stand in line and pay premium prices I would have gone to Disneyworld. At least I would have been wowed by the help. The staff should never say anything negative about a 3rd party unless The Great Wolf Lodge wants to sever relations with them. Speaking of Disney they would never allow a candy wrapper to be on the floor in a hall way for 2 days. Am I a little bitter? Yes? Would I return? Only if my family begged me. By the way I am a grandfather and I paid for everything! You should keep that in mind. I need to feel warm and fuzzy when I spend lots of money.
