Arrived, checked in, went to eat supper, back and ready to unpack ....was notified there wasn't any water in the entire hotel....broken pipe. We could leave or they were reserving a couple of rooms down there road at another hotel so we could shower.....didn't know how we were to use the restroom facilities during the night. They didn't know when it was to be fixed. We settled in for the night and the front desk called around 11:30 and said one of the guest had said half of the hotel had water did we want to move there....we said the next morning. Severe weather was coming so we decided to leave one day early as towing a boat in high winds could be tricky. I asked if there would be any consideration for all the inconvenience and the lady at the front desk said they wouldn't charge us for the night we didn't stay. She said it was Hotel.com's policy that you had to pay for the first and last night you reserved. I must have missed that part. I knew if you didn't show they would charge you for the first night.
Earlier this year the wife and I stayed at Motel 6 while traveling and there was a problem with the room lock. They bent over backwards to make our stay positive and when we left they gave us a voucher for a free night stay anywhere at Motel 6 in the entire USA. I guess the shows you the difference between Comfort Inn...which costs 40% more and Motel 6....besides leaving the light on and loving pets.

Your satisfaction is important to us and we will be using the feedback you provided to make improvements to ensure we offer an exceptional experience for our guests in the future. During your stay we apologize that we did have a issue with the water in the front building. As you stated we did offer to move you and a key was given to you for a room in the back building to use either by moving into it or just using the restroom which every suited your needs. Instead of discounting you as other chain did we felt that giving you a one night discount immediately was more acceptable and even gave you a goody bag of snacks for your trip back home.
I hope that you will consider staying with us again so that we can have another chance to provide you with a superior experience.
