Pleasant stay. However, was surprised with the lack of onsite restaurant hours/availability.

I am happy to report that the Flourish Restaurant and Lounge at Copperwynd Resort and Club is again open seven days a week including breakfast, lunch, happy hour, and dinner. We are adding room service to our offerings in the very near future. I am so glad that you enjoyed your stay with us!

Majestic Mountain Views, Terrible Room

Posted Aug 22, 2017
I was quite taken aback by the beauty of the hotel grounds and mountain views. Copperwynd seemed to be the quiet desert oasis that I so direly sought after. However, the chic, immaculate and modern aesthetic of the lobby and amenities seemed to have entirely skipped over the room which was filled with what seemed like old reclaimed furniture from a defunct motel. Upon entering the room, I was greeted by a multitude of moths, insects and tattered wrinkled bedding - likely the moths leftover dinner. Even after requesting it be changed, its replacement was not much better. As an Expedia VIP member, I was ecstatic about the sizesble daily meal and spa credit. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to use during my stay because the restaurant and resort were in essence seasonly closed from Monday through Wednesday afternoon. Fountain Hills is a sleepy city that also shuts down around 8pm, but thank goodness for Uber and Lyft which shuttled me to nearby grocery store to avoid starvation. Honestly, my trip was an odd mix of suffering, smiling and just letting it go...

Quiet first class hotel in a beautiful setting

Posted Aug 18, 2017
Great long weekend escape tucked away on the edge of the city in the mountains. Great spot for a peaceful adult getaway. Lovely pool with a view and a poolside bar serving tasty cocktails. Guest room patio was equipped with comfy chairs and table, perfect for morning coffee and a book before the heat of the day. Hiking paths nearby provide a little adventure and chance to experience the local surroundings.

Resort with a beautiful view

Posted Aug 4, 2017
Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful. The lobby is pretty and well decorated to match the Arizona atmosphere.
Cons: While the rooms were very clean, they are also very dated. There isn't enough lighting, especially in the bathroom! The furniture and decor is old.
Location: Fountain Hills is beautiful to explore. It is quiet and peaceful. It is also close enough to Scottsdale to go shopping and return in the same day.
We stayed at the resort while on vacation. It is located in a very pretty spot in beautiful Fountain Hills, AZ.

Nice hotel just not great. No am restraunt

Posted Jul 30, 2017
Ok place to stay. Room was ok. Spa was ok just not great. Spa facility was mediocre. Not a zen experience at all. Luckily restaurants close drive for breakfast as there isn't one open until 12 during the week and 10 on Saturday. Best view of fountain hills from anywhere on property.

This surprises me that you were underwhelmed by the Spa at Copperwynd. This is usually one of the high points from our guests. We usually get great feedback about the facials, and massages, and microdermabrasions, and the body scrubs. You are right though. We DO have the most amazing views in all of Fountain Hills. I am truly sorry for the lack of breakfast. we are opening back up to full capacity once summer is over. The resort will be vibrant and peaceful. Thank you for your comments. Hopefully, you are able to join us again.

Perfect quiet getaway

Posted Jul 9, 2017
Although we went during the slow season it was part of what made the stay perfect! We were looking for a quiet adult getaway to relax and unwind and that is exactly what Copperwynd ending up being for us. The landscaping was beautiful and the pools had comfortable areas to lounge. The fitness area was great and offered many options. The location was out of the busy part of Scottsdale but only a couple of miles from Fountains Hills which is a small town that had great restaurants. The staff was super friendly and accommodating although you should note that the restaurant is not open for breakfast or lunch and closed on M/Tu during the slow season. I would highly recommend a visit to Copperwynd even during the heat of the summer:)

Those pictures are beautiful. I love stopping and staring at the views. That will never get old. Thank you for those kind words about the resort. It is unfortunate that the restaurant is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. The summer menu is fantastic. Chef has outdone himself with this one. I am looking forward to having back. Maybe when the temps get a little cooler.
