Hot tub didn't work, said they would look at it later and it was still not working the next morning.

2nd Stay - Nice hotel close to shops & restaurants

This is my second stay at the Courtyard Marriott Scottsdale North - I chose this location because it's close to where my friend lives - but in addition, it's very close to lots of shopping and restaurants. The Kierland Shopping Center is @ a 5 minute drive down North Scottsdale Rd. - it's a outdoor mall with high end shops and eateries. It's around the corner from the Westin. The hotel is about a 20 minute ride from the airport and is close to a lot of attractions, including the new OdySea Aquarium. The hotel lobby is nicely decorated and has a Starbucks/Bar/Bistro, where you can get snacks and breakfast - which is very convenient for starting and ending your day. The rooms are also nicely decorated and have everything you would need, including a mini-fridge and coffee maker. The hotel has a pool - although I didn't get a chance to use it and I wasn't sure about the pool hours - but with 100 degree temps - it would have been a nice way to end the day. Overall I would recommend this hotel for anyone traveling to Scottsdale and doesn't need a full on luxury hotel experience (i.e. with resort fees and paying for parking) - but wants someplace clean, friendly, safe and convenient to stay.

Hotel Stay

I live in Scottsdale. My air conditioning went out, so I needed to stay somewhere close. Several of my friends have stayed at this hotel when they came to town. Price was good and hotel was excellent.

Just okay

The beds were so creaky we woke each other up multiple times all 3 nights. We think it was the platforms the mattresses are on. Whatever the cause we were miserable. Big confusion over breakfast-we were 3 adult sisters and were told only 2 adult, 2 children could have the free breakfasts. That was not disclosed on the hotel.com website advising this so the hotel accommodated us. Should not have been a question.
