The hotel is set at the foot of camel back mountain with access to the trail to climb the mountain. This is a lovely contrast to the rest of the hotel which seems designed to invite guests to relax in a sun-drenched over-fed coma by the pool. It is over the top expensive, and that is the only thing ...
I really like this hotel a lot and have stayed here a few times. However the room we were in casita 350 smelled musty and needed some repairs. Also the 2 pool attendants at the main pool provided terrible service this last trip. I never give bad reviews but felt like it was necessary this time.
The whole facility was very very nice. Room was spacious and clean. The restaurants were exceptional, very good food and service. Loved the musical entertainment in the bars and lounges. I will be back to visit again. Very nice Hotel Resort
Really beautiful hotel with tons of indoor outdoor spaces to sit and relax and enjoy the amenities. The 2 pools are lovely with both fire and water fall elements to enjoy. The staff was excellent and helpful. The room was spacious and lovely.
I have stayed here many times and it's always memorable!! I will be back!!
Our stay at the JW was perfect. The staff was outstanding and always helpful, and the resort was beautiful. I was with a small group for a quiet celebratory weekend, and we could not have asked for more.
Southwest charm with well maintained buildings and property. Friendly staff at check in, bar and restaurant.
Nice hotel. Most rooms don’t have a bathtub. Also, most of hotel was booked for a wedding. The wedding and guests were great but night of the ceremony was very noisy. Hotel should have warned guests. Food was excellent. Will return.
This was for a girls trip and we really enjoyed the hotel. Our stay was in October so I know some of the pool things change up this time of year but there was a DJ on Saturday which was a lot of fun. We showed up late so finding a seat in the sun was difficult but had a great time. Our room was clean ...
Incredible service , beautiful room, fabulous food. We did not have time to golf but would love to come back. The only exception was the remodel that is currently happening the garden pool is lovely put a bit far from your room.
Stayed for 4 nights with my hubby on a "no kid" getaway. Spa, golf, front desk and concierge staff all excellent. Visited their "vacation club" presentation and bought into it...no pressure sales and Robert was great at taking us through the whole program and getting us to our plane on time. Adult ...
Nice location; quiet and comfortable. I would stay there again when I have friends from out of town.
We have been visiting this place for years. Love it. BUT, now that they have the restaurant open, we don't enjoy the use of the pool and spa anymore. We feel like a fish in fish bowl. The restaurant patrons being immediately adjacent to the pool area.. creates a lack of privacy
Hotel looks tired, the grounds are run down and the rooms especially the bathrooms look old. The bikes we used were in poor condition, need tires blown up and seats too wobbly and torn. Location is great, old town was so close. Staff was very helpful and available.
Great hotel near Old Town. Nice staff, great pool.
Our week at Sanctuary was a biking, hiking, dining adventure. This was a flawless visit in every aspect. Top- notch facilities, staffed with the nicest personnel. Nothing was too much of a bother for this well-oiled , gracious, friendly staff. I used their bicycles to tour Paradise Valley and they ...
