Clean - nice rooms however TV reception was bad (bad cables?) and expensive $75 dollar charge for a small yorkie dog.

Hotel was clean. Not enough staff to maintain the pool area. The water in the hot tub was very low. This was the main reason I wanted to stay this time. No towels available. Pool area not open in am so I could use the hot tub. Over all the staff was friendly, breakfast had assortment of choices.

Room was missing a trash can, there was a coffee maker but no coffee pot, no hair dryer, and smelled like cigarette smoke.

The hotel upon check in told me that they oversold the hotel and since I went through expedia they cancelled my room after we jsut drove 5 hours in the car. Front desk somehow found us a room. Mutliple times I saw no one at the front desk which lead to numerous young kids and their parents taking water, soda and candy from the market.. Pretty much flat our theft. Would of loved to tell someone but they were no where to be found. Pool and hot tub were closed for no reason which was a disappointment after a long day of skiing.

I liked the location of the property in relation to downtown Scranton, and the shopping and dining options near the hotel. The service at the front desk at check-in was not so pleasant. The girl declined our request for a 1-hour later check-out the next morning because we were "not Mariott Rewards members" (turns out we did have one). The next morning, the front desk person (male) had no problem granting us the 1-hour later check-out (which we ultimately didn't need anyway). Our room had 1 pillow on the bed and we had to request more, as well as sheets and blankets for the pull-out sofa. All of that would've been fine but if not for the fact that it seemed like we were inconveniencing the girl at the front desk for these minimal asks. Annoying!

We stayed in room 314. The refrigerator was very noisy making it very difficult to sleep. Light bulb out in the bathroom and the fixture over the bed. I went downstairs at 10:45 am to get a luggage cart and someone was mopping the lobby, making impossible to get to the luggage carts without walking over the wet floor or to get in or out of the building. He was clearly annoyed that I walked across the wet floor to get the cart and again to get back to the elevator. I got our luggage from our room and took it to the car. As I came back into the building to check out, he was mopping the interior of the elevator. 10:30 to 11:00 am is hardly a wise time to be mopping floors in customer areas.

The staff was accommodating. I asked for a 1st-floor room or one near the stairs since my dog doesn't like the elevator. The front desk attendant made that happen. Also, I was leaving before the breakfast buffet would open, and the night attendant gave me some bananas for my trip. The staff was very attentive.
