I liked the location of the property in relation to downtown Scranton, and the shopping and dining options near the hotel. The service at the front desk at check-in was not so pleasant. The girl declined our request for a 1-hour later check-out the next morning because we were "not Mariott Rewards members" (turns out we did have one). The next morning, the front desk person (male) had no problem granting us the 1-hour later check-out (which we ultimately didn't need anyway). Our room had 1 pillow on the bed and we had to request more, as well as sheets and blankets for the pull-out sofa. All of that would've been fine but if not for the fact that it seemed like we were inconveniencing the girl at the front desk for these minimal asks. Annoying!
