Alright,
A bit worn down but we got a very large and pretty clean room with lots of floorspace, storage space and high sealings. It would probably look great again with a fresh lick of paint and some new carpets but not bad.
The on sweet bathroom was also big and had a large bath (I didn't have to bend my knees like I usually do).
It is situated right by the railway, so good for traveling by train if you don't mind the noise. It wasn't very loud and didn't disturb our sleep.
No breakfast is provided (thorough when booking it appeared to include it) so watch out for that and bring along your own drinks or food if you want them.
The bed was pretty comfortable and the lady who booked us in was pleasant.
I booked a B&B in a four-poster room, after I had checked in and paid, I was told that the restaurant had been closed for 3 years and there was no food.
The hotel smelt of stale tobacco smoke and when I saw the room I just walked out and am trying to get a refund now.
I would recommend the Hotels.com that they are removed from the Scunthorpe list, what a dreadful place
.
Really disappointed with the state of the hotel, very mucky feel to it, some of the walls were disgusting, marks on the quilt cover, no mention of breakfast even though it was paid for.
Overall I couldn't wait to leave the place.
Disappointed that there was no bed linen only a duvet and cover. Also there was no breakfast or bar. Pleasant greeting on arrival but not seen after. Room was warmed by an electric heater and was adequate.Could have stayed in the Premier Inn for the same price.
We booked b&b but no breakfast on Thursday if we had not paid already we would not have stayed we were very displeased all round would have to think twice before booking through Expedia

I was unable to undertake the visit due to family bereavement
Didnt seem to have any staff as only saw the one lady who booked us in during our stay and she wasnt very friendly. Think we woke her up when we arrived. Breakfast was good although coffee wasnt very hot.

room fine and clean, but heating did not work after 11pm or on in the morning.
No breakfast available, no staff everywhere closed, not very welcoming place , very poor effort, hotel will close down or change ownership soon as they dont seem to care
Was told owners had been taken to hospital unexpectedly but the owner was there as he told me as he had been on 4 in a bed on tv lol
Horrible! I have paid £46/night, sleeping in my care would have been so much better. Was like sleeping in the basement with the rats and all kind of creatures. I DO NOT RECOMMEND

Convenient for train station
Only use this hotel for convenience to see the family. At least this time a cooked breakfast my last visit was cereal and toast.
was told breakfast at 9am, arrived just gone 915 to be told everything was switched off so no hot breakfast available, was offered toast. no hot drinks offered. dead fish in the tank in the breakfast room. room ok got what we paid for a bed for the night. customer service wasn't given at any point during the stay. security concerns as reception not manned and was a good few minutes before anyone arrived. very basic no frills accommodation, location was the best part about it luckily we literally were only there to change for a party and to sleep. bed was comfy enough once you got used to the noise of the headboard on the wall.

I had paid for breakfast. Which for myself is essential as I am celiac. After paying I was then told the kitchen was closed. NO breakfast. I am expecting a refund?
The room was tired but the bedding was clean.
This hotel was both dirty disorganised and down right disgraceful
To many things wrong with it for me to state on here
From the moment we stood on the main steps we knew we had made a mistake in booking
Fire door was kept open
No body on reception to complain to
Booked bed and breakfast but didn’t get breakfast as owner was on holiday, mind I don’t think we would have eaten there if kitchen was in the same state as rest of hotel
Overall a very pleasant hotel. I would stay again and recommend.
Check in was simple and friendly staff
Room spacious & clean
Breakfast was nice with enough options
Only negative when I came to check out I couldn’t find anyone. Waiting at recepiton, waiting at the breakfast bar but nobody to be seen. In the end I just left my keys on the desk and went as had a train to catch.
This hotel was rated a 3stars , I have to say it is not and in my opinion isn’t even a 2star hotel , it is in a shabby state and needs a lot off work , there was a smell of stale cigarette smoke about the place and especially in our room , the only saving grace is the breakfast in the morning sereved at 9 on the dot. I carn’t in all honesty recommend this hotel.
Hotel was good and the service by receptionist was outstanding. She was very helpful in the very late hours when she was not supposed to attend . Similarly, during almost midnight and in the early morning we were late for breakfast but she made it herself for us. Very very good natured lady indeed. I would indeed recommend this Hotel very strongly.

Close to the town centre
Stayed over for a family do. Room basic but clean. Would stay again.
Shabby hotel very near the station. Smoke alarm in room was covered by a dirty sock. Had to wake the proprietors to get breakfast.Man,with blood on face asleep on the sofa in reception. Police arrived during breakfast to deal with injured man.Would not recommend and will not stay again.
Look at £40 i never expected the Savoy. The lady on reception was polite. The hallways stunk of cigarettes which filtered into my room. As a non smoker off putting. Room was basic but clean. Woke up at 2pm to the sound of a couple going for it! Luckily not there as a family. Traffic was loud outside front.
Got what i expected really, never bothered with breakfast as seen enough really.
Don't take the family, needs a good airfreshner in the room really. Beat my apartment in Crete in 1999, by a small margin. Needs investment badly.
The Bridge Hotel should be taken from your website. The room I was given had mold/mildew around the window. I pointed this out to the receptionist but to no avail. The shower stall was covered in rust along with other areas in the bathroom. There was no internet availability in the room. I reported this several times but nothing changed. The room was overlooking a road which was noisy and no double glazing allowed noise in at all times. the TV was an 11' model on the wall. The room was up four flights of stairs with no elevator. The only decent thing was the full English breakfast. However, I was told that if I wanted breakfast I would need to be there at exactly 9 am and no other times. There was never anyone at the front desk which had a buzzer to press if attention was needed. On one evening a sign simply said no one available for service.
In summary a very dismal hotel which I checked out of after two days of a five day stay. I appreciated Hotels.com customer service working with me to at least receive a refund for two days and the offer of a voucher for my trouble.

The entrance to the hotel is hardly pleasing and the whole building seemed to us to be in great need of refurbishing. Our room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was fine.
Wasn't the best. Very dated. Not that clean. No towels in the room. Which i had to go ask for. No hot water. When it did come on. It only lasted a short time. Plus side was the location.
Was working in the area and stayed 2 nights in a twin room. the beds were comfortable and the bathroom was light and spacious. The Owner was friendly and has worked hard to bring the hotel up to a good standard. Breakfast was freshly cooked each morning. plenty of choice for cereal.
Easter weekend break visiting friends.A shabby looking hotel. Reception accessed through fire doors. No one on reception but there was a bell which brought a quick response. No lift so a walk to room through clean and bright stairwells and several fire doors.Big room with large bathroom.Disappointing breakfast. No fire escape windows anywhere,no hammers to break glass in case of fire and wired glass on one landing.Needs a good makeover. Friendly manager needs support.
A pleasant stay in clean rooms. No lift, so being elderly, found the climb to our room tiresome. Nice breakfast served by friendly "and only!" staff member.
The hotel is very run down and staff unprofessional. Lightbulbs in the room blown, the TV was not tuned in and didn't seem to have a working arial connected to it. Cups and saucers had evidence tea stains. Generally everything was second or third grade.
