Terrible experince

1) Airport shuttle was not provided after they agreed to send one 2) Bathroom exhaust system had a back draft from kitchen due to apparently a separated joint in the wall 3) a/c shuts off in the middle of the night. Woke up sweating. 4) leaking bathroom plumbing created a puddle 5) manager was informed of the issues. Did not offer any restitution for poor service. Instead asked me to write a letter to them.

Clean and comfortable

Really helpful staff. Easy to organise airport pick up and driver was ready and waiting. My room was taken so I got upgraded. A bit pricey for the rooms but my stay was comfortable and enjoyable.

Nice Hotel in Cape Town

Pros: Location
Cons: The rooms could be refurbished.
Location: Everything is a short cab ride away. The promenade near the ocean is within walking distance.
Hotel is very well positioned for visiting Cape Town. You are outside the hustle and bustle of the city but a short cab ride away from all the shops and restaurants. The V&A Waterfront is also a short cab ride away. The location is very nice as it is in walkable distance from the ocean and promenade. The hotel itself is starting to show its age and the rooms could definitely use refurbishing and more modern decoration. That said, the bed is comfortable, the room is clean and the A/C works great -- those were what I needed so I have no complaints. The included breakfast buffet is a good way to start the morning before a big day of exploring Cape Town and all its wonderful offerings. I would stay here again.

Bringing down the blu name.

Water bottles were not fresh, would bring unsealed bottle with pink mold under the caps. Worried about getting sick when I was there. How is this hotel 4 stars? Rooms haven't been updated since 1997. TV only had one channel, only one elevator was working. Staff was friendly. Good area. Rooms were bad.

Good location, shuttle to waterfront

Good location for tourists, shuttle to watefront until from 9am to 10pm, free parking and a great breakfast . Close to sites like table mountain and Hout Bay for driving

Nice hotel near the promenade

Cosy hotel with extremely friendly staff! And it's convenient to get around as the hotel provides shuttle service to V&A hourly. Definitely recommend this place to others if they are visiting Cape Town. Cheers~!

A bit disappointed

Honestly I was a bit disappointed for a 4star, bathroom door broken, struggle to open wardrobe doors etc. The people were friendly though

Will definately book again

It was amazing stay - best location, staff very friendly especially the one that stood out for us was 'Sky' - overall all staff were exceptional! The Breakfast was really very good!!
