Comfortable stay..close to beach...shuttle service

Pros: Area and close vicinity to the waterfront
Cons: I was fine
Location: Hop on Hop off bus stop. Waterfront is close by. Sea is just opposite the hotel kind off so makes is convenient to go for a walk in mornings
Good and pleasing staff...good service of shuttle to waterfront...Closer to the hop on off bus stop which makes going around easier. Closer to sea is an added feature

An elegant and comfortable hotel

Pros: The staff were unfailingly courteous and friendly.
Cons: A little updating of decor and furniture would improve the look of the place, although everything was clean and comfortable.
Location: Well-placed for access to the many shops and restaurants (of all levels of quality) in Main Road and the side streets, with the Waterfront not far.
The service was courteous and friendly and the room large, clean and comfortable, although it did not seem as if the decor and furnishing had changed since 2005, when I last stayed (before it became Radisson Blu), so it all looked just a little bit tired. The friendliness of the staff made up for that, however.

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful place

Pros: the staff were most helpful.
Location: restaurants, seafront, red bus tour, shopping, walking, jogging, biking
We had a delightful stay here. The staff were very helpful, knowledgeable, and hospitable. We felt very welcomed here. The rooms were comfortable and had decent views and were quiet. The staff checked on us regularly. The breakfast was fantastic. Wow. The omelettes were great, nice choice of breads, fruit, yogurts, etc. Nothing to complain about. There is so much to do in the neighborhood too. Some really good restaurants are just nearby and the seafront is so close too. The hotel offers free rides to the V&A where there is tonnes to do and lots of shopping. It is an older hotel with a French design.

Pleasant stay

We stayed for three nights to do sight seeing. The hotel's location is perfect for this purpose and very comfortable with a great breakfast. The staff were helpful and always friendly.

Nice hotel; convenient location

Pros: Friendly, courteous and responsive staff. Excellent buffet breakfast.
Cons: Main elevators being replaced while we stayed there - only one small elevator available. I used the stairs but my wife has difficulty walking
Location: Beach Road short distance away; lovely walks and ocean views. Numerous restaurants nearby
Overall good experience with some minor drawbacks. Recommended.

Basically a good place to stay

The hotel was accommodating (despite a series of noisy guests in the early hours of the morning). Staff were polite and helpful and the room spacious and comfortable. Sea Point is always a problematic environment and the restaurants of lesser quality than elsewhere in Cape Town. The WiFi was good and access easy.

Staff was very friendly, rooms need to be refurbished as looking a bit old and worn out. Overall, it was indeed a pleasant stay
