Enjoy an incredible deck that wraps around the house, where you can soak in the hot tub, gather by the gas firepit, and watch for whale spouts on the horizon. This multi-level home sits just up the hill from Shoreline Highway, with a Telsa charger in the garage for easy exploration. Moonraker - the closest of Sea Ranch's three rec centers with an outdoor pool, tennis/pickleball courts, and saunas - is just over a mile south. You'll also be one mile from Pebble Beach, Black Point Beach, and the renowned oceanfront Bluff Trail. The Sea Ranch Lodge (two miles), Stewarts Point (four miles), and small-town Gualala (eight miles) are within an easy, scenic drive as well. This is a wondrous place to wake up each morning, with the ocean breeze wafting in through the windows. All three bedrooms have en suite bathrooms and smart TVs, with the main-floor primary suite offering its own dedicated yoga space (with mats, a balance ball, and weights) that opens to the deck. Upstairs, find a second spacious suite with its own balcony and a third with a desk work area, where you can log onto the high-speed WiFi and take calls if need be. The rest of the house is beautifully appointed, with views of the ocean and evergreens at every turn. Some of the special features include an open kitchen with state-of-the-art appliances (including a gas range, a French-door fridge, and a wine cooler), a window-lined breakfast room, and a separate dining space. After an evening spent barbecuing on the patio, retreat to the sunken living room to play board games in the cozy warmth of the gas fireplace. It being winter, we spent most of our time inside in the kitchen, dining area, living room, and hot tub. We enjoyed the fireplace and hot tub immensely! The view of the ocean from the some spots at the dining room table and from the main deck were even better than I expected. Everything was so clean, beautiful, and comfortable. I had never stayed on the non-ocean side in Sea Ranch and was worried I wouldn't enjoy it as much as previous stays there but I still wound up being ridiculously relaxed as I always am in Sea Ranch. There was enough room for the adolescents to have independence. For a poet to write. For adults to spend time outside on the expansive deck cook together in large enough kitchen that could have had better tools and basic condiments. The beds were large and comfortable. The house was clean. The best part was the natural environment the quiet the birds the vast starry sky and the ocean view. The wine was complementary, we had to ask it wasn’t clear. A few suggestions: more instructions about how to open and close doors and how the jacuzzi tub works. More instructions in general. Also there was not a working Roku remote in living room. Giving the house 4/5 stars because: The beds are pretty soft and sounds carries quite easily throughout the house. The property management company (Vacasa) was also quite useless in answering any questions about the home. I asked how to turn on the fireplace (no remote, wall control etc) and the only response I got was an AI chatbot answer saying they would “check on it and get right back to you”, and then never messaged me again. Overall, I think the house is a lovely spot for a peaceful getaway, though I would encourage the owners to find a new property management company to preserve the integrity of their fabulous rental home. We had an issue were we didn't have heat or hot water as the propane tanks ran out and they didn't get them refilled in time for our stay. In addition, the fireplace wasn't working either, probably because the propane tanks were low. I feel like they should have known the tanks were low as there is remote monitoring for them. Jul 19, 2023 #### The Great Escape House was perfect. Will come back. Loved: Outdoor private hot tub, bonfire, fireplace, bbq grill, indoor jacuzzi, garage, washer dryer. Spacious home, comfortable interior, no bugs, peaceful community with deer, super close to the Sea Ranch Lodge and Pebble beach, smart lock.
