This property is an above average hotel, definitely not a “resort” as other reviews have noted as well. The pool is nice. Rooms are generally clean but definitely need some upgrades. Our bathroom sink fixtures had green rust on them. We had to change rooms once since the first room’s AC was not working properly. The area around the hotel seems more industrial than anything. There is a railroad track nearby. You can see the ocean from certain rooms, but also a road and an RV park located between the property and the beach. The front desk staff were polite but not super-welcoming. Overall, I think we paid too much for what we received.
