Front desk wasn’t friendly. Had an issue because it was a rollout Murphy bed and wanted to know if they had two double beds. Reception snapped back “We’re completely booked. That’s what you booked when you chose kitchenette. Sorry I was expecting a stove/kitchen not a downgraded room. Place also needs to wash the tile floors in the room.

Hotel was clean and comfortable. If you are looking forn a 4 star resort, there are none in seaside nj. All hotels are privately owned. I have stayed at a few, this is by far the best. Staff is friendly and very easy to deal with. Read the descriptuon if you book, so you wont feel slighted. They are very honest in the description. AGAIN... clean comforrable, very secure, staff pleasant. Right across the street from the beach on the south end of the boardwalk.

We loved the location of the motel. Close enough to the boardwalk and all activities yet far enough away to not be disturb by it as well! It's your basic no frills motel, but it was nice they served coffee and bagels each morning!

Love the fact that this hotel is right across the street from the beach. Only stayed 1 night so didn’t get a full experience of the place but our bed was as hard as a rock probably the only thing I didn’t like

The location of this property is beyond perfect. It’s not directly in the middle of all the craziness but you’re right near the start of the boardwalk and the beach is so close you can easily go to and from your room whenever you need to.

It was our first time staying at Charlroy and we had an overall excellent experience. Rooms were very nice and clean, excellent location, pool was clean and just big enough for everyone to enjoy and the service was great. First stay of many to come.

At first we were greeted and felt welcome. We were early so we couldn’t check in but we’re given beach badges and use of the pool. When it was time to check in, there was something going on behind the desk and we felt totally ignored. So checking to in took awhile even though we had been there before. The room was small. I took a shower to find mold on the liner. Went to bed to find sand on the bottom sheet, and the tv didn’t work. I brought this to attention of the front desk and was told “well we try our best.” WE WON’T BE BACK!!

Hi - We apologize for your experience and this is not how we present ourselves. All sheets are changed between guests and shower curtains are regularly washed. Without perfect memory i'm sure our desk staff's reaction sending back in the maid to re-clean the room.
