Pros: quiet and good location
Cons: the elevator
Nice hotel in a great location. Close to medical facilities if you should need them. Short walk to restaurants. ATMs, etc..

Good older hotel

Posted Sep 2, 2015
Needs some maintenance upgrades. It really needs to get the cafe up and running.

For the price, just fine

Posted Aug 30, 2015
It's hard to find a downtown Seattle hotel for under $200 a night, like this one. It is convenient to Capitol Hill and some great restaurants (like Terra Plata and Sitka & Spruce). Nothing fancy about the hotel, but it was fine, despite the painfully slow internet (on the 6th floor at least - I didn't try the lobby). If, like me, you don't spend a lot of time in your hotel when visiting a city, this is a good choice.

Close to hospital

Posted Aug 26, 2015
Pros: Since we arrived after their café/deli had closed we ordered room service. Very good food. Arrived quick and very hot! All for a very moderate price.
We stayed here number one because of price and two because of location to Swedish Hospital, where my grandson was having surgery the next morning. Our experience started with the entrance to the hotel. We had a baby stroller and had to go up 3 stairs just to get in the hotel. Then approx. (didn't count them) 6 more to make it to the lobby. making it a little difficult. The elevator is very small. With 2 adults, three small bags and the stroller, we filled it up! I realize this is an older hotel and these things are not horrible, just made our stay a little more difficult. The room was very clean, but the walls were very thin! Not a bad hotel for what we needed.

Not wheelchair friendly? Wow.

Posted Aug 22, 2015
You just kind of assume in 2015 that businesses will have wheelchair access. No ramp to the front entrance, no ramp to the rooftop area and the door to the room wasn't wide enough for my chair. I don't remember seeing anything when I booked about this place not being accessible (or I obviously wouldn't have booked here). The room service is from the hospital cafeteria next door. You get what you pay for I guess. The rooms were clean but kind of muggy - opening the windows didn't help. The staff was friendly though.

Inn at Virginia Mason.

Posted Aug 16, 2015
Pros: Being able to open windows, size of rooms, and comfortable beds.
Cons: Definitely needs someplace to set things in the bathroom.
Location: It is on a steep hill, and a little far to walk downtown but was quiet and full of beautiful buildings all around. There were a lot of homeless.
The Inn was in pretty good shape. The beds were very comfortable. I liked that the rooms were large and roomy. The bathroom was very large but there was no place to set anything down. It needs to have a bench in it. I really liked that you could open the windows for fresh air. It was pretty expensive but I know that rooms are very high in Seattle. I wouldn't mind staying there again.

救急ホテル

Posted Aug 15, 2015

Very convenient and comfortable hotel

Posted Aug 13, 2015
Pros: Convenience and comfortable beds
Cons: air conditioning
Location: Cafeteria in the connected hospital was great. Some cool historic homes on nearby blocks. Comfortable walk or short bus ride to downtown.
We made the reservation because the price was reasonable and the location was an easy walk to the Convention Center. We also like to support historic hotels in historic districts. The unusual heat wave made the room a little warm a few of the days since the chilled water cooking system did not seem to be working in our room. The beds were very comfortable, and even with the windows open, the nights were relatively quiet for such an urban location.
