No room at the Inn

Posted Jul 17, 2017
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Staff and over booking policy.
Location: Difficult to find as there is no sign or street number on the 'address street', their sign is on the main road which is not the address.
We arrived about 7:30pm to be told they had maintenance issues and there was no room and we should phone Expedia, they provided a phone number but would not let us use a phone. Expedia did resolve the issue and rebooked us in another hotel. But it took over 90 min and cost us about $200 in cell phone minutes as the call Center was in Texas and we were in Washington. Not a good experience.

Hotel was dirty and room was not even cleaned

Posted Jul 13, 2017
Room beds were not even made up the bed sheets were just tossed and the comforter was just put on. The kitchen was dirty looked like it had rat dropping in the cabinet and we also got a smoking room although we had booked two months ago for a non smoking room

Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback. You are absolutely correct to expect a clean, well-maintained property as your home away from home when traveling, and I apologize for failing to provide that for you. My staff and I are taking steps to ensure every detail from the first impression at check-in to the final at check-out and will focus on providing a better experience for every guest entering our doors. We truly regret the inconvenience caused, and please give us another chance to provide you with the hospitality you deserve. Sincerely, General Manager

Staff makes all the difference!

Posted Jul 12, 2017
The accommodations were not perfect, but the staff made our stay near perfect... They worked very hard to make us comfortable. If it wasn't for the staff, we would not be repeat customers and definitely not recommend this establishment to others!!

Nice hotel, except

Posted Jul 10, 2017
Pros: convenient
The hotel was nice enough and clean for the most part, but I wanted to pack light for the trip. The hotel didn't have a hair dryer in the room and I didn't pack mine this time.

Thank you for including us in your travel plans. It’s nice to know you were overall pleased with your stay, but we are sorry for your disappointment with our in-suite amenities. Our guests often bring their personal items from home to use in their suite, so that's why our hair dryers and toiletries are available upon request at the front desk and always complimentary. Please accept our apologies if we did not communicate this to you at check-in. We hope the positive aspects of your visit will bring you back to our hotel in the future. Sincerely, General Manager

Pros: Coffee, price.
Cons: please refer to my paragraph on my experience.
Room smelled terrible, no toilet paper, soap ,hangers,or shampoo. Dirty underwear left in one of two broken dresser drawers. Air conditioner sounded like water swishing. Rooms are not cleaned daily. I felt badly for the people behind the desk, they were friendly but must deal with a lot of unhappy customers. Coffee was good!!

Nice Hotel

Posted Jul 4, 2017
Pros: The big room
Cons: Could use an upgrade soon.
Location: It's in a business industrial area so not much do in the area by foot. Close to the mall and parks by car.
We arrived late into Seattle around 1am and the front desk was great with letting us check in late. The room was bigger than I thought. Nice kitchen and bedroom. The free breakfast is okay, just oatmeal and muffins nothing fancy. It's about 15 miles from downtown Seattle and with traffic it takes about 30 minutes but that's okay as we saved about $100-150 a night by not staying in downtown. The one negative and it's no fault of Extended Stay - is the pot smoking. Guests must come from all over to get legalized pot as that's all we smelled while at the hotel. It's not just as this hotel, we smelled it all over downtown.

Dirty

Posted Jun 4, 2017
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Fire the staff, hire completely new people, train and supervise them.
Location: Look for a new hotel.
Our first room was so disgusting that we asked to be moved. The furniture was stained, the sheets had hairs in them suggesting that they had not been changed since the previous occupants left and there was the same trash strewn in the stairwell through out our three day stay. The room they moved us to was not much better. There was food residue on the lamp and desk, rotten veggies in the bottom of the fridge and a soap scum ring in the bath tub. I have the photos for all to see but the survey will not let me post them.
