Woke up with tremendous pain as the bed was horrib

Posted Dec 6, 2016
Pros: Staff went out of their way to assist whenever needed.
Cons: I would return if the bed was not so soft.
Location: Tour the University of Washington, and experience world class dinning for menu choices spanning the Globe on University Way.

Nice staff, but hotel leaves much to be desired.

Posted Nov 21, 2016
The hotel staff was nice and helpful, but the hotel was not the best. The room was cold and the bed was a bit on the hard side. The vending machines were broken, so I had to walk to the gas station late at night to get a beverage.

Cool vintage hotel.

Pros: Great location
Cons: The room was a bit noisy.
Cool vintage hotel in the U district - easy access to North Seattle.

Enjoyable stay, only suggestion: to staff members who respond to emails, I would suggest to please respond to emails. Before my trip I emailed the hotel to inquire about rooftop dining as the website picture is a bit misleading. Email was answered after I sent a second email? The. My follow up email was never replied to.

Beautiful boutique hotel, Super friendly staff

Posted Nov 8, 2016
Location: So you are in the university district, so there are lots of bars and amenities within walking distance.
I love the location and the staff, so helpful and so nice. The only issue I had was that housekeeping forgot to clean my room, but once I informed the front desk, they were more than happy to rectify the situation

Great location by the UofW.

Posted Nov 7, 2016
Pros: The well lite and well maintained parking.
Cons: Needs updating desperately. Could be a beautiful Art Deco building with some effort
Location: Proximity to the U was wonderful. Tons to do in the U district
Very convenient location to U. Property very rundown and in desperate need of update. Staff did not know where the breakfast was located, we had to go to a restaurant. Rooms have little soundproofing so we heard everything next door, beds were saggy, pillows flat, no bath fan, poor lighting. Lovely view and well light parking lot which we truly appreciated. At $200.00+ a night expected a bit more. Could have booked a room at the Travellodge for $89 and gotten the same caliber of room.
