Great hotel, managed very professionally. A little bit outdated, but I really enjoy this place. It's clean, quiet and the staff are wonderful. Couldn't ask for a nicer hotel, excellent.
Good location and had all the comfort essentials including coffee. Would like to have had a small breakfast bar, fruit, and perhaps yogurt, available in the a.m.

Thank you for the nice feedback and recommendation! We will strive to keep improving our amenities and breakfast in the near future, keeping an eye on covid. Thanks again for your business! -Hotel International
I have reviewed this hotel before. Hotel International is for the budget conscious traveler. There is no breakfast and the rooms lack some amenities. In addition the Wi Fi was very slow. But the rooms are spacious and well kept. And the price is right.

It’s hard not to stay there. They are really reasonable. Bit last night as I checked in they informed me that the elevator was not working, but they put me on the second floor. I did ask that someone help me with my luggage. When I was in my room the tv was not working I went to call the front desk the phone didn’t work! Went to get ice and the ice machine was not working either! The man at the front desk was very nice though. He fixed my TV and said the ice machine would have ice in about 15 minutes. I gave up on ice……

Expensive for what it is
The hotel is clean and I had no issues with my room. The hotel is a little outdated and the elevator was not in service during my 3 night stay. I found the nightly rate to be expensive for what it was, and the hotel is advertised as being pet-friendly, but it's not at all.
I did have positive experience with the staff, unlike other reviewers.
Don't listen to the negative reviews. Yes, this place is slightly dated, but for the price, it is wonderful. The staff is very polite and helpful. The rooms are large and clean, water is hot in the shower and they have an amazing teppanyaki restaurant next door. Can't ask for much more, especially for $90 a night.
Overall I was happy with my experience at this Hotel. The atmosphere is unique and had an “international “ flare to it. Rooms were big and clean. The building does echo with the sound of closing doors and “people noise” in the middle of night so just be aware of that. No real complaints or issues other than that.
The hotel has an Asian feel and flair. Very attractive. King room was spacious and clean with a comfortable bed. I also appreciated the in room and lobby coffee, the alarm clock that provied handy bedside charging for mobile devices, small freezer in the mini fridge so we could refreeze our gel blocks, microwave, iron & ironing board. Location was good for us.
We stay here at least a couple of times a year. They are always friendly and the property is clean and in a convenient location. However, our room this time was disappointing- the AC barely worked, and the wifi kept dropping out. If it had been a sweltering day, as has been happening, this would have been intolerable. It’s time to spend some $$$ on updates.
photos are misleading. My pillow had hair on it, walls had more than just paint and shouldn't be on the wall. They tried putting me in another room, and that pillow had hair on it too. Manager did give refund so I'm thankful for that but for the cost no way! And it seems they are very over your shoulder.
This is an older building that is going through renovations. The staff was lovely and the rooms were well taken care of but they were aged. I travel for work and this was perfect, it is not a resort destination.

Some shortcomings like a non-working vending machine should be addressed. The area around the parking garage should be improved. Otherwise Hotel International is a good value place to stay for a holiday.

Clean and quite. An older building and property. What I expected for the price.
We arrived at 3am to face the "Dragon Lady", who spoke virtually no English but was apparently the desk agent. We asked for a late checkout only to be repeatedly told "checkout 11am". The furniture in the room was from the 1970's, with a horrible bed. Linens were grey (used to be white at some point). The "free breakfast" was a bunch of bananas, coffee and cellophane-packaged cheap pastries from some discount store, including Madeliene cookies from Costco. Vent in shiwer was caked with dirt. All for $150 for the night and an additional $3 charge in the morning when we checked out. Nearest parking was in the far back of the property. I'd rather sleep in a bus station than ever consider thus dump again.
