Apartment in a Hotel

Posted Aug 21, 2016
Before I entered my room, I expected to enter a narrow hallway, with the bathroom on either my left or right, then the bedroom itself. I didn't expect to walk into a one-bedroom apartment. The lobby also had two different flavors of lemonade right on the check-in desk. Checking in was also quick as well. This was also my first time booking a hotel by myself.

Very nice, well priced for the location

Posted Aug 17, 2016
We had a suite room with a kitchenette for the night, I doubt we'd find that anywhere else for the price. It was quiet, clean, and comfortable. Definitely will come back.

Construction with out notification, too much noise

Posted Aug 16, 2016
Cons: The Hotel have the right to fix, repair or to construct but The hotel must have a notice to the Public and work on the time between in and out.
Too much noise by hotel working with out notice from 9:30 am to 1:00 pm next to my room on Monday. I call to complain I can not sleep, Thomas, the General Manager told me that They must work. That's all. I can not sleep, I can not do any thing, I have to pack and leaving Hotel. I think hotel must have schedule working, and have the customer know it, so the customer can choose the room far that area so that they can sleep well or resting or have quiet time for working. I rent the room and paid the room for better sleep, not paid for angry or get mad because can not sleep and unhappy with the way sold problem like Thomas, The General Manager of the Hotel. I already book 4 more days this week. I don't know what happen to me when the time i check in and living at this hotel. I am scare.

Have stayed at Larkspur Landing many times when going to a Mariner game in Seattle. Almost always a good experience, but we did have a fire alarm this time because somebody burned some toast in the breakfast area. Not the fault of the hotel but rather somebody being careless.

"Suite" style has heat issue during warm weather

Posted Aug 9, 2016
Pros: Proximity to South Seattle and the airport. The outdoor appearance and the size of the rooms.
Cons: They constantly run out of coffee. Their 1/2 gal airpots only hold enough coffee for about 5 of the cups they use. Refill exhausted breakfast items!
Location: It's only about 15 - 20 minutes from the airport
We stayed in a "suite" style room on the top floor in late July. There's no heating or AC in the bedroom, just a "transfer fan" that sucks air from the living room where a typical wall unit AC/heater is located. On arrival the room was about 80 degrees F. Also, there were 2 sinks in the bathroom, which was nice, but the left sink's drain stopper was stuck closed, that is, the sink would fill and there was no way to make it drain. The thicker bedroom curtains (not the sheers) would not open. There was no bath mat when we arrived and so had to step out on the floor the next morning, or use one of our towels. The drain and curtains were fixed the next day after I mentioned them. Housekeeping left us a bathmat after I mentioned that. We were told we would not be charged for our first night because of the hot bedroom but 8 days after returning there's no evidence of a refund in our account or on Expedia. If you can't sleep in a warm bedroom avoid the top floors of this place in Summer, or, call ahead and ask them to lower the AC temp to 60 and crank up the "transfer fan." Cooling the bedroom by the only method they have takes hours, not minutes. They should have built the AC units in the bedrooms (who cares how cool the living room is while you sleep???) but I believe it would cost them too much to fix this now. Don't bring your swimsuit, they are filling in their hot tub. Also, this place is just too expensive!! $245 a night in Renton, WA?? OMG! Seattle needs more hotels!

Very nice option for Renton, WA.

Posted Aug 9, 2016
Location: Larkspur is near SEA. Great location for doing business in Renton and nearby vicinity. Use shuttle to light rail station for downtown.
We found it to be of good value. Staff was friendly. Property was tidy. Room was clean. Took advantage of the free shuttle service. Breakfast was unique. We just wished they could have offered hot eggs as well.
