Pros: Close to the Marina
Cons: Hotel is dated but clean.
Location: Lot's of restaurants close by within walking distance and near the Des Moines marina.
Arrived Friday evening after 8:30 and very easy check-in. Hotel staff were able to recommend breakfast and dinner restaurants near-by. They even took the time to text us while we were at dinner to show room key for 10% discount.

Great location with shuttle to airport

Pros: Location, cleanliness, well-planned rooms.
Cons: Gym was nothing fantastic but they were working on it as we speak.
Location: Too many to list! Super close to the marina, easy walking to many good restaurants including "Anthony's" on the water.
Clean, comfortable and affordable hotel in awesome location! Just down the hill from the airport, you are easy walking distance to many restaurants in the quaint town of Des Moines. You are one block from the marina. Hotel rooms include kitchenette, iron and board, good wireless internet, a large couch (semi-private from the comfortable bed). Other amenities include free parking and a continental breakfast. For the price it was awesome and the 24/7 shuttle to the airport made the stay super-convenient. It's not the Edgewater, but it succeeds at doing very well at what it is trying to do- be a great, convenient 3-star with everything you need. A steal!

The lady who signed me in at night was lovely but the man at the front desk in the morning was a bit rude and only interested in talking on his phone.

Pros: Breakfast.
Cons: Needs an update. They are replacing carpet and updating some rooms, so maybe improvement is on the way

Pros: Love the location and the size of the rooms. Rooms have a sitting area and refrig. Nice
Cons: Hotel is older and needs a little love. Not quite as clean in the hallways as could be.

Pros: Helpful staff, cleanliness.
Cons: More variety for breakfast would be helpful.
The staff was very accommodating and welcoming. Facilities were clean. The room was comfortable and had everything I needed. The motel is in a quiet location. The room rate was appropriate.

Fit the Need

Pros: The location and customer service was outstanding. The accessibility to the Pier and airport was definitely a plus.
Cons: The furniture was very out dated. The lobby had a smell upon entrance. The bedding should be replaced along with room furniture.
Location: The hotel is in a great location if you desire to be near water. They have all kinds of stores and shops in walking distance of the Pier.
I only needed a room for one night therefore it "Fit the Need". The customer service was outstanding. The furniture and carpet needs replacing. The smell upon entrance needs to be taken care of. The accessibility to the Pier was a delight.
