great location and staff

Posted Sep 27, 2016
Pros: Location, staff, lobby
Cons: Rooms, bed, TV
Location: You can take the Lightrail to the Westlake Mall which is where the hotel is located. Went to a Seahawks game and it was a comfortable walk to/from.
It is a great location. Staff was good too. It's an older place so it has charm (lobby) yet the rooms had thin walls and needs some remodeling. Bed squeaked which was annoying when trying to sleep. Was expecting rooms to be more charming like their lobby. I would stay again but will also look at other choices for downtown Seattle.

Great location. Nice bar and responsive staff.

Pros: Charm and great location.
Location: Very convenient.
We enjoyed our stay and walked everywhere from the hotel. Very helpful staff. Nice bar. We had a problem with our coffee pot and an electrical outlet. It was taken care of in a timely manner. Would definitely recommend.

ok for a couple of nights

Posted Sep 27, 2016
Pros: Location
My wife and I plus daughter booked a 2 queen bed suite for 3 nights. This turned out to be an amalgamation of what had been 2 en suite bed rooms, so we had 2 bathrooms ( 1 with shwr, one with bath/shwr), a sitting room and a bedroom with 2 beds. First impressions were of spaciousness, but by day 2 we were finding the bedroom pretty cramped and not really able to use the rest of the space very effectively,No where to put suitcases and no hooks for toilet bags in bathroom. The bedside lights were inadequate- in fact the lighting generally was pretty awful. On the plus side it was clean, the beds were comfortable, air con worked, the staff were friendly and welcoming and the shower was excellent.Overall however we thought that it felt rather tired and too well used with too many minor defects for it to be value for money

Good Location

Perfect location for walking anywhere in downtown Seattle. Room small & cramped considering cost. Smallest room & most expensive out of eight hotels on this trip. Restaurant and bar very nice but again over priced. Eat good food and drink the same draft beer around the corner for half the cost.

vintage hotel stay

Posted Sep 16, 2016
Pros: the staff, most of them were very polite and helpful
Cons: earlier check in times and vending machines for pop
Location: It was in the center of all of the attractions we wanted to see so we could walk most places. That and the trams were so close it was great.
It was good we enjoyed the sites that they recommended and they let us know about specials to save us some money.

Nice hotel, in the heart of Seattle

Such a quaint hotel! Great rooms and friendly staff. Couldn't have been in a better spot. Great shopping and dinning at every corner. Oliver's bar was great spot to grab a quick drink and snack after a long day of walking the city. Would highly recommend a stay.
