Room was exceptionally hot (79 degrees in November) and when I inquired at the desk, I was told that the entire hotel had one heating system so all rooms were the same temperature. As several guests had complained about rooms being cold earlier, the staff had increased the overall temperature for all rooms. The only thing that I was offered was a fan and was told to open my window. Additionally, as I had booked through Expedia, the staff told me that there was nothing they could do and that if I had complaints, I should contact Expedia. The hotel staff was unsympathetic and unhelpful. Very, very disappointing, especially for a VIP hotel.
