We stayed for one night in Seattle on the way home (to Arizona) from Vancouver. All we can say is that we should have stayed longer! The room was great. The sofa bed was much comfier than expected. And we really enjoyed the complimentary breakfast.

Nice hotel, but parking fee is too expensive for US$30 per day w/o tax

Great for families with children

Posted Aug 13, 2016
Pros: The staff and the room.
Cons: Breakfast - real bagels and real English muffins, rather than the "pseudo" (off brand) ones.
Location: Good restaurants by the lake, Museum, Center for Wooden Boats, boats for rent
The front desk staff was extremely helpful, happy to help us navigate to various out of the way sites via mass transit. The room was immaculate and well stocked with everything you'd need in a kitchen. (I would have liked some movies available, or at least some movie channels.) Location was very good, overlooking Lake Union yet close to main attractions. The wide angle lens used to show amenities was misleading, however. For example, the pool was tiny for such a big hotel, and was always jammed with kids. While a free breakfast is nice to have, after a few days you get weary of under ripe cantaloupe, overcooked eggs and watery orange juice. (They did have a waffle maker - which kids love.) The lobby, while built on many levels, is mostly tables and chairs set up for breakfast, making it feel like a big cafeteria. Parents don't have to worry about their kids playing on the furniture, it's all covered in vinyl. This hotel is great for families with children, but mine are grown now. Next time, I'd prefer one more upscale, geared to a more mature clientele.

Nice hotel, busy breakfast

Posted Aug 10, 2016 on Hotels
Room was great, nice if you were staying for longer to have a full kitchen. Bed was comfy and the kids didn't complain about the pull out. Was nice to be able to see the needle lit up from our room at night. Pool was decent, looked a little weathered in the hot tub area for sure. Games room was nice and the kids liked that. Breakfast was BUSY. It was a weekend but, definitely grab a seat before getting food. Had to wait quite awhile for waffle batter to be filled up. I over heard one lady say she heard they had some people call in sick so perhaps they were just short staffed. Parking was an extra $30/night and was a little tight. There wasn't a lot of family friendly middle range food options nearby for dinner but, that could have just been our searching too.
