Nice Property with Failing Infrastructure

Check in went well and the two staffers we interfaced with were very courteous and professional. The hotel was having difficulty with their credit card processing as there was an apparent Marriott system wide problem of some sort. The next stop was the antiquated elevator which took five minutes to clear the upper six floors and return to the ground floor. The average wait for the elevator throughout our stay was two and a half minutes. At one point when I needed to meet our Uber car out front, I had to walk quickly to another elevator down a long hallway. I still arrived at the lobby before my wife did. The room was very nice, clean and roomy but looks can be deceiving. The air conditioner, while set at 65 degrees, was not doing the job. Before leaving for our evening activities I turned it all the way down to as low as it would go. When we returned, the room was still not cool enough and it stayed way too warm throughout the night. Ugh! All in all, this is a good looking, centrally located property with a friendly staff but also with a failing infrastructure.
