Good location, very relaxing, but...

Posted Dec 15, 2016 on Hotels
- Bed mattress was extremely uncomfortable - Leak in the shower - No option to turn down heat. It was so hot that we had to leave sliding door open all night just to balance out the temp.

Gorgeous setting

Terrific room, but the lighting was not good, and there were empty pop cans in the room when we checked in.

Enjoyable but pricey.

Posted Nov 14, 2016
Pros: Waterfall location, nice dining
Cons: "twin" beds are less than what you would get at any 3 star hotel
Enjoyed our stay but it is expensive and you have to pay extra to use the spa. The beds in the twin room are less than a full size and are very short. My husband is less than 6 feet tall and your feet are hanging off the bed. Overall, it's a nice hotel but not worth $350+ for. a Sat night in November.

It was ok, the room was nice but there was no pool and no free breakfast included in the expensive price of the room. This is a good place to go planning to spend the whole time in your room or in the restaurant. The food was great but very pricey. The spa was ok, the sauna was not functioning and not hot. Overall it was ok.

Nice getaway hotel!

Posted Oct 28, 2016 on Hotels
The good: We had a nice stay at The Salish Lodge. We chose a river view room and were happy with the view we got. Go to the lodge for the food experience for sure! My wife and I loved the Dining Room (great dinner and breakfast, got window seating both times on request). Special mention for Jackson, the Food and Beverage supervisor - he was super helpful with reservations etc. Check-in with Jordan at the front desk was a breeze. The bad: heating in our room was all over the place (got too hot or too cold). Also, though we didn't use the fireplace at all, there was this weird smokiness in the room all through (and metal clanking sounds.) 4.5 for the food, 4 for the stay.

Pros: I loved having a fireplace in the room. I'd like to have separate bars of soap for the shower and sink.
Cons: It's a beautiful, relaxing hotel. The interior seemed old and could use an update.
