Best romantic getaway!

Posted Apr 4, 2017
I took my husband there for his 33rd birthday and we had an such a nice walk to the falls. We decided to take the hike down which was only a half of a mile and it really boosted our attitudes for the evening. Plus I didn't feel bad eating pizza and we had dinner in the attic!!! The room was amazing with the jetted tub for two and the smell of real firewood alongside with the crackle was and end to a perfect evening.

Hello Lindsey, Your husband is a very lucky man, it sounds like your birthday gift to him was a huge success! We're delighted you both loved enjoying the beauty of the Snoqualmie Falls and the memorable hike. A tasty pizza in our restaurant, The Attic, sounds like the perfect reward for your outdoor activities to us! Our in-room fireplaces and oversized jetted tubs are two of our highest praised qualities, and we're thrilled they provided an ideal way to relax during your visit. We hope your travels bring you to our doors again soon.

Gorgeous lodge in a very serene setting

Posted Mar 23, 2017
Pros: Location, staff, size of rooms, bedding
Cons: The "valet" service was unnecessary. There is parking in front of the hotel. Why did someone need to park my car for me? Seemed like overkill.
Location: The falls
Beautiful lodge situated in a peaceful and romantic setting. The lodge is over 100 years old but it is kept in pristine condition. The rooms are spacious and the decor is rustic but very comfortable. My only concern is that the room was quite dark - especially with a forest outlook. The restaurant/lounge is stunning but it is extremely expensive.

Great get away

Posted Mar 12, 2017
Pros: The restaurants were great!
Cons: Wish the room service was posted clearer how to use
Location: Outlet mall, casino, the falls all so close
Everything was great , only issue was , in the middle of the night I woke up to a strong smell of smoke. I thought for sure the smoke alarm was going to go off. Because there are fireplaces in the rooms, I assumed the room next to us did not open their damper. Other than that it was a great night away!

Hello, Thank you for the fantastic five-star rating; you sure know how to make us smile! We'll love sharing your compliment for our restaurants with our dining teams; we know they'll be just as delighted as we are. Not all our guests are familiar with wood burning fireplaces. For this reason, we provide directions in every room and are more than happy to assist any guests who would like the additional support. We're sorry, that despite our best efforts, you still experienced the smell of smoke from another room. Thank you for your feedback regarding our room service amenity. Hearing from our guests is invaluable and we appreciate you taking the time to share your suggestion with us. We'd love to welcome you for another luxurious getaway to the Snoqualmie Falls in the future.

Not worth the price

Posted Mar 10, 2017
The view, incredible! I can park at the falls and walk down for free. The staff, very professional & very sweet. That happens at most hotels. We were so excited to enjoy our stay here, the sheets were sooo soft! The room was beautiful, the jetted tub was very relaxing! My bed is equally as comfortable. We were looking forward to going for a swim, it's an extra $75/day to use the pool and sauna. I'm certain $300+ a night should cover a dip in the pool. The lodge restaurant was convenient and romantic. Breakfast for 2 was $60... dinner... don't get me started. The food was very good but not even close to worth the price. The lodge store wasn't even open Sunday morning when we checked out. Recommend for others to stay? No unless you truly have money to WASTE then stay at a hotel down the street and drive to see the falls.

A real treat

Posted Feb 28, 2017
Our family stayed at Salish Lodge for its proximity to skiing. We knew nothing of the history of the area so we're in for a treat with the history of the falls, power plant, Milwalkie Railroad, not to mention the accommodations and restaurant. The rooms were great with the exception of double beds rather than Queen size. Also we would not recommend the Attic restaurant but the main dining restaurant is superb. Pricey but you get what you pay for.

beautiful setting above the falls

Posted Feb 24, 2017
Pros: location, attention
Location: close to seattle, the ski resorts, and enough to do local to keep you busy if you don't just stay in the lodge.
lodge is talked about around the region. staff was above and beyond attentive the entire stay, and provided "extras" that just made our stay something we will never forget.

Beautiful hotel, rain or shine! Dress warm.

Posted Feb 23, 2017
Pros: Super friendly front desk. Great rooms - good old fashioned, well-maintained rooms. I felt like I was living in the past. . Superb food.
Cons: Room service was a bit sketchy. I had some seafood chowder that was only slightly above luke warm.
Location: A must is to walk to the main attraction - Snoqualmie Falls. Also, it's a short drive to nearby Old Snoqualmie with lots of shops, a brewery& a winery
The Salish is a great place to visit. The property is great when it's sunny. But it's also fantastic when it's stormy and raining. One can hear the falls from all over the property. If there is any chance of rain, I would suggest wearing waterproof shoes to visit the falls and warm clothes. Because it's located approximately 30 miles from Snoqualmie Pass, it can be chilly when overcast or raining.

As you mentioned, we've strived to maintain our historical charm while providing our guests modern luxuries to impress. We're thrilled you appreciated our efforts.
