Pros: Location is very nice.
Cons: The furniture could be a bit more modern. The fitness center's equipment should be rearranged. Difficult to use.
Location: Close to the city and the Cascades. Dining and shopping centers are fairly close.
Overall, comfortable. Nice site next to a sizeable waterfall. The hotel has seen a lot of wear. Clean and quiet.

Awesome night!

Posted Sep 12, 2016
Pros: Beautiful view/scenery, lodge atmosphere, rooms are romantic.
Cons: The hotel/rooms smell like firewood/smoke - someone told me they "pipe in" the smell to make it more authentic! It was a bit much for us.
Location: Snoqualmie Casino!!! And you can arrange for a driver (at a cost $$$)/.
We rented 3 rooms to celebrate the opening of our new company. We had dinner at the Snoqualmie Casino and stayed at the Salish - we did enjoy a wonderful breakfast at the Salish and drinks in the Attic.

Lovely hotel

Posted Sep 5, 2016
Lovely hotel located at the top of Snoqualmie Falls. Wonderful staff and everything is well cared for and kept nicely. Great visit and would not hesitate to stay there again. Only thing that is not great is no parking so you have to valet your car every time you decided to come and go from the hotel.

Trying to be high tech? But not really reaching.

Posted Sep 1, 2016
I feel the price doesn't match with the service they provided or lack of staff(?) No one helps to bring bags to our room. In the room, it says all information is on TV screen, but not enough informations. No restaurant menus. You can tell what kind of restaurant, if it is casual or not. You can't find detail menus. So I had to search on my phone. WiFi is free, but very poor signals. I got cut off so many times to just see the menus on the web site. It would be easier if there is a book of hotel amenity information which must of hotel has. That was only down side of the hotel. Room is nice and clean. Overall I am happy.

We did not really think it was worth the price. The room was small and nothing special.

A lot of money for a little

Posted Aug 22, 2016
Pros: I liked the tub and the fireplace.
Cons: More light, breakfast, microwave.
Location: The falls are magnificent.
I booked this hotel mostly because of the location. Unfortunately you really can't see the falls from inside the rooms. I was disappointed that after paying $390 for one night, it didn't include breakfast. There was very little light in the room even though it was sunny outside. There just weren't many lamps. I didn't want to stay in the room because I couldn't really see to do anything. There also wasn't a microwave. I guess I have grown to believe these things are normally included since the cheaper hotels have them.

Excellent location, most comfortable bed

Posted Aug 1, 2016
Pros: Loved the bed. I can't remember sleeping any better on any other hotel bed.
Cons: The complementary valet service was a nice touch, but I needed to visit my parked car a few times. I recommend to make valet optional.
Location: Other than the Falls and the two on-premises restaurants, everything else requires a lengthy drive.
The Salish Lodge is wonderful - clean, well lit, well maintained, attentive staff. Unfortunately, however, I experienced a few issues with my Room: - One of the lamps next to the bed continued to flicker, as if threatening to burn out or warn of an impending power outage - very annoying! - The refrigerator was in defrost mode, either that or it was broken as it leaked nothing but water onto the floor - The toilet paper roll fixture was loose on the wall and the roll kept falling onto the floor - The drain on the in-room spa did not work reliably. The drain would close only seconds after opening it making it a real chore to use the tub and shower! - Water continued to ooze from the faucet even when the knob on the tub/shower was fully closed The above reasons are why I rated the hotel a 4 out of 5.

Not worth the money

Posted Jul 31, 2016
For the huge cost of this room there was no view of the falls and the hotel overall just felt crowded and not very relaxing. The room was ok but nothing special and for the cost just didn't seem worth it and I wouldn't come back again. I wish we had just stopped by to see the falls maybe eat at the restaurant and then stayed somewhere else. The restaurant overall was good food but again no view of the falls and expensive.

Hello Anonymous, We’re deeply disappointed that your recent stay with us did not meet your expectations. Each guest room focuses on luxury and relaxation, from our supple linens and heavenly beds, to the over-sized jetted tub and fireplace; we’re sorry that these felt overcrowded. We’re convinced there is nothing quite like falling asleep to the serene sound of a rushing waterfall. We’re sorry that our price points were not to your liking. It pleases us greatly, however, to know that you enjoyed our dining options. Our Dining Room is proud to source our ingredients from the on-site, organic (and sustainable) gardens, and our very own bee hives. We hope to have the chance to welcome you back and show you how truly marvelous a stay at Salish Lodge can be.
